And I also think that many more things will happen that makes the Twin Towers seem so minimal. It was devestating, and the loss of life is terrible, but I think it will get so much worse.

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
It is wonderful to see the Children of God discerning the times knowing that our Redemption draws near.

At the moment, Russia is more keen to neutralize Israel's Arab enemies; not to mention Russia's trade rivarly with Opec.
I don't think many people are surprised that the Arabs are terrorist supporters. They have been incapable of operating a modern army for the last 300 years. They are often no better than bandits who run around, kill auxillary forces, and cream off enemy supply routes. The Arab nations recent attempts to destroy Israel has been all rather pathetic. They seldom cooperate, they never seem to learn from their mistakes, and they are pretty sore losers afterwards. Instead of sitting back and evaluating their mistakes, or trying to meet with some compromise with Israel, the Arabs simply go into a "Death to Israel" chant. They can't win on conventional war, they won't accept defeat, so the Arabs fall back on terrorism. "Kill a Jew a day and make the state of Israel go away" seems to be their motto. Its more the pity that the Western world and in particular the Western press do not see the dilemma that the Israelis are facing.
Having said that, the UN military actions may point to similar actions against Israel in the future. Don't get me wrong, I like the UN. They have done good things in the past - they passed the resolution that created the State of Israel, and UN forces also helped to defend South Korea in the 1950 war against the North Korean and China communists armies.
But for the USN to turn on Israel, the US and Britain has to be taken out of the UN equation though. Maybe the rapture will push that along?

You ask very good questions. You also made some very good points. I believe the way I do because the Lord spoke to me when I was reading my Bible on Sept. 20th, early in the morning. This was the first time that he talked to me in ten years, and only the third time ever. I posted this experience on another Forum, and it became a very hot topic. 965 people read it in less than 36 hrs. The title was "WHERE IS AMERICA IN THE LAST DAYS". I think it became so hot because so many people are asking why America is not in the Bible, especially in these last days. Well, He told me what would happen to America, and it really opened my eyes. I was thinking of asking you if I could post it here, but I see that one of the rules is not making long posts. It would be about three times longer than my post (America Beware-Christian Be Ready). Well Rolling Thunder, its good that God spoke to you about America. However, I would consider what He said in prayer and fasting and think over the matter deeply, like Paul, before posting your message.
Why should the twin towers fall? Let's not spiritualize the issue. The most logical answer to this lies not so much in the spiritual but in the natural. America's national security within its own borders is poor: its lax immigration and security laws enabled dedicated terrorists to hiijack the planes and crash them into the buildings. There is also another issue about rights of immigrants

There is also a third one coming. I'm just waiting for someone to ask the right question before I post it. I should realize that this forum is much slower than I'm used to. Not many fish biting yet.
Now- to answer your question about Why the towers were meant to fall. I remember when Clinton was running for President. He was twisting the scriptures around to deceive the people. A wolf in sheeps clothing, and a proven liar at that, good riddens. I was thinking, if this man becomes our next President, this country is doomed. For years and years I couldn't understand why God would let him win the election, but it's clear as day now.
He is one of them, a globalist, and lover of the New World Order. He dismantled the FBI and the CIA. These towers wouldn't have come down before Clinton, because our secret Intelligence gathering capabilities were too strong then. He would have not only sold his soul, but the entire nations as well. Why did it have to be those buildings you ask? This was not just about the U.S. economy. The people that were killed in those buildings were from 80 countries around the world, probably from all the Stock Markets around the globe. It was not just the American Economy that was attacked- it was the Worlds Economy. Rockefeller built the World Trade Center. Do you know who he is. You guessed it, he is one of the richest leaders that is pushing for this One World Government. I believe that God used this to start moving certain nations into place, first this coalition against the terrorists, and then after the rapture, the terrorists with Russia to come against Israel. Look at the obvious before speculating on the supernatural. An Islamic terrorist organization who hates the global world system and America wants to bring it down. That's the fact. As for your thesis that God wanted the WTC towers to fall to setback globalization, I doubt it.
The One World government+New World Order=Anti-Christ agenda theory has been going around for a very long time. And before that, there were the Communist takeover, and before that Hitler was the anti-Christ, then the League of Nations, .....and further back the godless Italians... the Mongols... the Vikings hordes.... the Roman Caesers etc.
Instead of obesessing about who the anti-Christ is, Christians - even in America - should be active in becoming a global force - helping the poor in the Third World Countries - setting up schools for good technical education, helping the rights of the poor, helping to create jobs for the poor. If they did, perhaps more Muslims would see the love of Christ and be converted.

We are to be useful to God while we're here and seek His will not our own, but we are also told to "watch and pray, for we know not the hour when the LORD shall come". Our greatest hope is Christ's return and the end of the age. What joy it brings to see prophecy being fulfilled and further prophetic fulfillment immenent (joy not at the suffering that is happening and will happen, but joy that we will soon see Jesus. Whether He comes back tomorrow or in 100 years, our joy is His return).

How can we, who are spiritual, look at world events and reason as the rest of the world - by what is obvious? The towers were not a trap from God but a trap from satan.
Through the free will of men this tragedy has occured. The Lord did allow it... just as He allows free will all along.

I'm not sure about this theory. Tens of thousands of civilian lives were lost when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were nuked. And, although the circumstances were different, the results were the same.....countless innocent lives lost, massive property damage, destroyed infrastructure and major economic setback.
