Today while praying the rosary before mass, I received an interior vision of Father Corapi and the situation that he is in.

I then received these words, “Many will be forced to leave the service of the Lord.”

I believe that these words came from Our Lady.

My first impression when I received these words was that I had heard this message somewhere before, perhaps in one of Our Lady's apparitions. So, I began reading through all of Our Lady's messages given in her apparitions, and I found this message given at Akita Japan. This was her third and last message given on October 13, 1973.
Part of this message reads as follows:
"The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against other bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres (other priests). Churches and altars will be sacked. The Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord."

So, my interpretation of these words is that the prophecies given at Akita Japan are being fulfilled now.

Our Lady of Akita's words are coming into fruition as we live in this era; if they have not yet (especially considering the "wreckovation" of our churches by Liberals and Modernists in the post-Conciliar era), we are very much nearing that time. :sigh:

Kyrie Eleison. :crossrc:

I remember them bringing this up on catholic radio regarding how the devil makes it a priority to attack the clergy at all costs. I cannot help but see this as a demonic attack on the clergy. Since Corapi preached orthodoxy and church teaching without compromise he became a much larger target than most other priests. I am wondering why he didn't let his case follow through and just threw in the towel, and I know he has received many letters to not give up and continue with the process. However, I believe he is worried due to some of the other cases similar to his that took years and went on forever . Maybe he felt it was going to become a long drawn out process that would been futile in the long run, idk. He might have felt betrayed by being shut out from ministry so quickly also. Either way in such a position it can create an enormous amount of stress on the person, which can cloud ones judgement and cause one to make rash decisions, and with Corapi's health problems this just compounds the problem.

When your livelihood is taken away in such a heartbeat it is going to cause the person to be in a shocked and unstable state. His 'blacksheepdog' moniker might just be a example of him trying to express the state he feels he is in. The term "black sheep" is to describe someone who feels left out in a family. Basically, the outcast of the family. This probably is shown to others the state that he feels he is in.

What really confuses me is that there are priests who are giving communion to open heretics, and yet nothing happens to them. Yet there is so much fervor for an unsubstantiated letter from an anonymous woman? Why isn't this same fervor applied to the priests who give communion to open heretics like Kennedy, Cuomo, Pelosi, and Kerry? Unsubstantiated gossip is treated with such fervor yet bold and outright open heresy is treated with leniency. It just baffles me

I think it's the second time this thread has been closed for a clean up .

That is true.

It's time it was closed for good .

I agree. There is far too much for potential calumniation in this thread; even, alas, some that has already occurred. :sigh:

unless you are staff or the OP

promoting thread closure on the basis of personal taste is disrepectful for those who want to participate and towards the person who created the thread

i just dont want to see the 'i cant win an argument so close the thread' hypothesis become the norm here

if you dont like the thread, then dont post in it

I'd rather be "disrespectful" than allow a potential occasion of sin by calumniation to remain, if at all it can be halted, stopped, or such can be prevented.

if you see anything that violates the rules then report it

'potenential occaision of sin'- isn't that what happens from the moment we wake up in the morning ?

the rules do state however that derailing a thread is a violation

True. This forum gives people a place to discuss things that can be confusing and needs clarification to understand. I don't agree with every post, but it's an opinion-based forum--not a cold, hard fact based courtroom. If you don't agree with someone's opinion, ignore it. If you feel they've broken a forum rule, report it.

Thank the Lord the justice system doesn't work that way. As in your world it seems people are guilty before proven innocent. There is no justice in that. If you honestly believe that, then you should move to a communist country where people are given no proper defense.

Have these allegations been proven?

No

Superifical facts can seem important, but they are superficial.

The REAL questoin is why? Why is this a fact? What is this fact's relvance to the argument? Dos this fact have the importance the argument seems to give it?

Well, no, it has no real relevance or importance to the argument. Why? Bcause it is superficial only. It has no real meat to it.

Why?

Fr Corpai filed a civil suit against her and that STOPPED the investigation by the Church . . . how can they be proven by the church when the investigation was hamstrung by Fr Corapi himself?

Such misuse of this "fact" to claim or imply Corapi's innocence or the woman's guilt is misleading at best and extremely prejudicial.

Since the allegations months ago, have they been able to prove anything?

No

Again: And why? Fr Corpai filed a civil suit against her and that STOPPED the investigation by the Church . . . how can they be proven when the investigation was hamstrung by Fr Corapi himself?

Does this woman have a history of being unstable and making vows to ruin corapi?

Yes

Unproven allegegations. . probably true, but still UNPROVEN. And such allegations are to be proven in a court of law, not on the internet.

Thank goodness the court system doesns't work the way you lay things out here.

Did this woman threaten the priest and attack her coworkers?

Yes

Again:
Unproven allegegations. . probably true, but still UNPROVEN. And such allegations are to be proven in a court of law, not on the internet.

Thank goodness the court system doesns't work the way you lay things out here.

Its easy to add 2 plus 2. Any competent lawyer can see this is employee based retaliation

Again, ALL UNPROVEN and still allegations. . ONE IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

Thank GOODNESS our laws require that.

But here I see in this post she is already judged guilty instead of presumed innocent, as a court requires, based on unproven allegations and CIRCUMSTANCIAL EVIDENCE. .

NO ONE here knows, NO ONE here can know who is innocent and who is guilty of what.

Yet I see the woman has already been tried and convicted in this post.

Thank GOODNESS our court systems don't do what is being done in this post - presumed guilty until proven innocent - if they did, we would be living under tyranny.

Innocent till proven guilty? That's how justice works.

Then why is the woman not innocent until proven guilty? Only good one way?

Think about it.

Until its proven, he is innocent of the charges and should be deemed as innocent.

And SHE is innocent of charges until proven guilty . . . why does it only go one way in your post?

And based on how long it has taken and still none of her statements have been proven or been shown to have any credibility or weight behind them.

Again, it has taken so long because FR CORAPI hamstrung the investigation with his civil suit. . . it is his doing. No one elses.

Given that the nature of the post is to presume Fr Corapi's innocence and to presume the woman's guilt, I think it is clear that one is being glorified and the other demonized.

The fact is NO ONE here does not, CANNOT, KNOW. . . . so why all this pretense ?

The bottom line is that Father Corapi needs our prayers.

I agree.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son and Word of the Living God, through the prayers of Thy Most Pure Mother, and of all the angels and saints, have mercy on Father Corapi and grant him health and salvation.

It is not the rules of the forum that are being addressed .

It is the law of God against calumny and detraction that is making this thread untenable .

This thread contains calumny and detraction and it is sinful .

inappropriate content would not be allowed on this forum , but it's quite ok by the rules of the forum to commit the sins of calumny and detraction on it .

This is crazy , and shows a distorted and truncated view of God's will .

Ditto, and the OP isn't even around to close the thread, He is converting to eastern orthodoxy, and probably hasn't been in OBOB since he started the thread.

listen, we all know what inappropriate contentography is

however, as some posters pointed out, this is not detraction nor calumny

i have heard priests on Catholic radio say the same things to some degree or another about corapi at the same time chasting detraction and calumny

the reason why is because they know what those words mean, you do not

If anyone, Corapi himself is leading everyone into confusion and detraction.
From his blog:
In twenty years of preaching and teaching in the Catholic Church I ran into many who should know better that did not believe that wolves existed and that there was no need for sheepdogs. They scoffed at the idea of either. They are not leaders, they are delusional oxygen thieves—taking up the space and breathing the air that a real leader should occupy fill.

Who's criticizing who here?
Corapi's on a roller coaster right now. It's not fair to people who used to follow him. First he's saying love the church--now, leaders are "delusional oxygen thieves".

I'm disappointed that he couldn't just let due process work itself out.
