Ye call Me Master and obey Me not,
Ye call Me Light and see Me not,
Ye call Me Way and walk not,
Ye call Me Life and desire Me not,
Ye call Me Wise and follow Me not,
Ye call Me Fair and love Me not,
Ye call Me Rich and ask Me not,
Ye call Me Eternal and seek Me not,
Ye call Me Gracious and trust Me not,
Ye call Me Noble and serve Me not,
Ye call Me Mighty and honor Me not,
Ye call Me Just and fear Me not;
If I condemn you, blame Me not.

I just finished doing a study on the Hebrew name of God - Adonai - Lord and Master.

"And why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?" Luke 6:46

The lordship of God means His total possession of me and my total submission to Him.

We need to ask ourselves each and every day - can I honestly say "Lord, Lord - my Adoni - my Lord and Master"?

Thank you for the poem!

Even though Jesus is our Lord, and we are to as you say, totally submit outselves to Him. He came to serve. He wants what is best for us even to the point that He gave Himself on the Cross for us. He really does love us and care about us.

Mark 10:42-45
And calling them to Himself, Jesus said to them, "You know that those who are recognized as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them; and their great men exercise authority over them. [43] "But it is not so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant; [44] and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all. [45] "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
