Supernatural Childbirth =

1. Conceiving when doctors tell you you can't have children.
2. Painless or relatively painless labour. Very fast delivery.

Based on God's command to go forth and multiply (ie His plan is for married couples to have children) and the fact that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, one of which is giving birth in pain (Genesis).

------------------------

Here's a testimony from a friend who's sis has just given birth...

Hi all,

I'm so excited, I must share this piece of wonderful news with each and everyone of you.

My sister, Sylvia, had a supernatural childbirth this morning. Only 5mins of labour!! No painkiller, no anaesthetic, no screams, no tears, no nothing, only the wonderful presence of our Lord Jesus who's in control of the whole situation. There's no other better explanation but this...

Sis gave birth to a healthy bouncy gal, Sarah (means Princess) this morning at 0743hrs. 2.88kg, 48cm, rosy (like Leslie) and very sleepy (like sis). hahha.... I was with her thru'out the whole process and I must thank my brother in law for giving me this chance to be with my sister.

And it begins......
At 330am, I was still working on my computer when she called. She was experiencing some mild contractions, according to her the sensation was bearable. But something told her, just go to the hospital. I picked her up and we started the journey with a prayer for journey mercy. Along the way, we talked abt everything and anything, laughed abt things, its like two best friends chit chatting.

The hospital admission procedure was a breeze altho the hospital staff frown upon anyone who's not "The Husband" from remaining in the delivery ward. Hey what's the problem man!! Anyways, I was allowed in without much fuss every soon.

When all the pre-delivery procedures were done, we managed to squeeze in a 1.5hr power-nap. (I had been awake since 8am the previous morning!!) Sis drifted in and out of sleep. It was just 1.5hr but boy, I was up and awake, fresh and alert at 7am.

At 7am, sis started to feel stronger contractions but she said the pain was still bearable. Sis and I started praying again, asking for Jesus presence. We prayed for a "supernatural childbirth". Actually we dunno the definition of the term "supernatureal childbirth", but it sounds right, so we just pray for that, "we claim for a supernatural childbirth in Jesus name, Amen". And kept praying and praying....(we think it means quick delivery, pain free, speedy recovery, healthy mum and baby, all the good stuff lah).

0730 action starts, 6cm dilated, sis is breathing... short sharp steady breathes. Pain is tolerable.
0735 doctor arrived, the moment he snapped on his gloves, the crown of Sarah's head appeared. And you wun believe this... at
0743 our little Princess, Sarah has arrived!! ahh... the little burst of cry...
0810 the doctor was all done, he said, "Praise God" gave us a big smile and left.
1000 Sarah poo poo... hahah....

It was an amazing experience for me. Many asked me if I'm put off by the gory?? No, I was totally knocked over by the glory!! That big gasp of air, filled her tiny lungs, started the 1st ounce of blood pumping... pumping colour into her tiny life form..... WOW... amazing.... A child has been born... A specially crafted masterpiece from the Potter's own hands!! Wow.... This has to be God.

So for all the mother's to be, remember to call on the name of Jesus... : ) I thank my brother-in-law for this wonderful chance to witness this miracle and to share this with you guys. To my dear friends, mother, or mothers-to-be, daddies and special friends.... Jesus is our constant companion and He always answers when we call. Amen.

God bless,
dot

Thanks for the testimony Andrew. Ain't God good! :)

I have Pastor friends I'm very close to and they were married about 15 years before she became pregnant with their first child. About 3 years later, she had a second.

They had planned on NO children because according to the doctors neither one of them were capable of producing children. Ha! What do doctors know? Their just practicing. Their knowledge comes only from God anyway. And if God be for us, who can be against us?

Sounds like more than five minutes to me, especially with the 1.5 hour power nap and the drive to the hospital. And her labor actually started at 3:30 am according to your narrative.

But it is good to know that her pain was very bearable. Some women seem to have easy deliveries! God was certainly with her, just as he is with everyone who asks for his presence or who gathers in his name.

Here's another recent one from my church's magazine. (I've left out names cos i didnt get permission to put it here he he)

--------------
Yesterday, when I attended the third service, you spoke about supernatural childbirth, and I realised that my testimony is long overdue.É

Like most women, I have heard too many horror stories about childbirth, When I first heard about supernatural childbirth without pain, I was in awe, I was carrying my first child when I first heard that, so I claimed that promise. I had my first child two years ago.

The labour lasted five hours and I had very little pain. It was quite a good experience. The doctor was amazed how easily it went, since it was my first delivery experience.

This time around, with my second baby, I wanted to experience 'more' of a supernatural childbirth. I attended the prenatal class conducted by MrsÉ and MrsÉ . They said that I can tell Jesus what I want, so I told Jesus that I wanted a quick, fast and painless delivery.

To confirm this, you preached about Mark 11:24 the following week, "Whatever things you ask when you proy, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

So, I started to claim it this way, "I believe I will have a supernatural childbirth that is fast and without pain, and I will have it. " I declared this all the time. By then, I was quite close to my due date, I thought I had better claim as many times as possible.

On Thursday 9 May, I went to the doctor's before going to the office. I had a feeling that I would have my baby soon but there was no pain.

Since I had claimed painless childbirth, I had better not leave it to chance. When the doctor checked me, we were still joking.

Suddenly, she said, "Do you know you are 6cm dilated?" Huh? I had no pain. She quickly asked for a wheelchair to bring me down to the delivery ward.

I told her, "No need, I can walk there."
She told the midwives over the speakerphone to expect me. I heard her asking if I needed an epidural. I said, "No need." Then I heard a laugh from the speaker, "Is she still grinning?" I told the midwife I could even sing her a song.

To cut a long story short, I was in the delivery ward at 10.50am; my water bag burst at 11.25am; my baby was born at 11.50am. All in an hour!

The doctor could not believe it. She said if all her patients delivered like me, it would he easy money for herl During all this time in the delivery ward, I was calm and had no fear. I had a warm feeling and felt that Jesus was there in the same room, helping me to deliver my baby into His arms,

I know it can only be through Jesus and His finished work at the cross that I can be blessed.

My birth was supernatural but in a very different way... God really blessed me.

In my family we had a generational problem where it was dangerous to be inside the womb especially if you were female and the second child. All my female relatives for about 3-4 generations had had miscarriages or stillbirths for their second pregnancy and the child had been female. My parents didnt know about this until my mum was 3 months pregnant with me and then suddenly started bleeding. Then all the testimonies came out of the woodwork and people said what had happened to them.

Well that was christmas eve.. my parents started to pray and my mother opened her "Daily Light" which is a collection of bible verses for each day, and it said "for I know the plans that I have for you, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future" Jer 29:11 and somehow my mom knew that it was talking about me and not her.

So they kept praying and somehow 6 months later I was still alive. When I was born 5 weeks early they discovered I was "placenta preview" which means that the placenta had disconnected from the womb lining and slipped accross infront of the cervix. Well when the midwife took one look at it she said it was impossible that the thing had fed me anything for the past 6 months.. that I should be dead. and to add to that, they reckoned that due to the limited amount of oxygen I was getting if I had been born any later I would have had brain damage.

So God fed me for 6 weeks in the womb and then made sure I was born at the right time to prevent any permenant damage.

I guess thats about as supernatural as a non-virgin-birth gets!

I don't think and easy delivery is actually supernatural. Medically, "painless" deliveries, in which there is little sensation of contractions, is pretty common, about 19% of deliveries report very low levels of pain, without regard to religious affliation. A woman who has reporductive structures that are well-suited to childbreaing is more like to have an easy delivery than one whose reporductive structures are less than ideal. First pregnancies are more like to be painful, with subsequent deliveries having less pain due to more developed structures and higher hormone levels. But if you ask around, you probably know someone who had an easy delivery for at least one of her children. One friend of mine has had eight children, and only felt pain for the seventh one. All the others were very bearable according to her.

But the story about being maintained dispite placenta previa, well, that's more supernatural than any of the other stories!

Whao lambslove, you really like to doubt God's goodness and explain away things scientifically. You're prob saying these things cos you are against the faith movement, confession of God's Word etc and have some axe to grind.

If someone praises God for the sun rising today as a miracle, I'll just rejoice with him or her rather than say:"Actually, its not really a miracle, it happens everyday to Christians and non-Christians alike, scientists have proven.....blah blah blah....

That's amazingly judgemental Andrew!

I am a big believer in miracles and God's ability to heal without medical intervention. I've actually seen it happen in my own family.

But being in labor for four hours and not having unbearable pain is hardly a miracle. It's not even that unusual.

I love to praise God for healings and miracles! I just want them to be real miracles. Read some of my posts in the prayer thread and you will see how many times I have posted about healings.

And blindfaith is right, the real miracle is that life is created in this way at all! two tiny cells become an entire human being. That is a miracle enough for me.

Here's a miracle childbirth story. I got this card today from a friend at Elizabeth's New Life Center in Dayton, Ohio. Feel free to verify it with them:

"Linda was reminded that life is a gift when God granted her a miracle this year. When she came to the center for a pregnancy test and it was confirmed positive, she was sick with worry and fear. Linda had just delivered a son four months ealier who had died at age 17 days with a very rare genetic disorder. Told by medical experts that another child would have a 25% likelihood of having the same problem, Linda took a amnio test that confirmed her fears...the child she was carrying would also have the same disorder. Linda's first reaction was to have an abortion, she couldn't carry another child to term just to watch the baby die. However with the encouragement and prayers of friends and staff, Linda decided to put the life of her unborn child into God's hands, trusting Him no matter what the outcome.

In August, Jeremiah was born, and to the surpirse of his doctors, he was normal. Lab tests confirmed that he had no signs of the genetic illness with which he was previously diagnosed. The original tests were searched to see if there was any hint of a mistake--there was none--he had definitely had the disorder, but is now normal! Our Heavenly Father had answered all our ferverent prayers and granted Linda a joyous healing miracle!"

There, Andrew, you have a truly miracluous birth!!

If He had not set doors and boundaries for the sea, our world would litteraly be flooded. (Job 38:8-11)

If He had not given the command for the sun to rise we would in literal darkness 24/7 (Job 38:12, 13)

Should we ever come to a place where we think anything that God's hand touches is NOT a miracle?

Whether someone else view's what I view as a miracle or not does not negate the fact that God was involved. Without His touch, the earth would be "without form, and void".  (Gen 1:2)

Hi everyone I am new!  I just read Supernatural childbirht book.  I would like the tape.  Does anyone know how to get it?

And Does anyone know how to contact Terry and Jackie?  I would like them to pray for me and my birth.

I have some questions about this...

Why has no one ever taught me about this.  I mean this will be my third baby and every Christian I know just accepts to have pain is ok?

Where is the best place to start in scripture on this subject?

And please pray for my husband and I to have faith in a supernatural childbirth.

Thank you all for your time!

The Mosaic Law that we are freed from in Christ, was given/written 2500 years after God's judgement on Adam and Eve for their sin.

Genesis 3
16 To the woman He said,
"I will greatly multiply
Your pain in childbirth,
In pain you will bring forth children;
Yet your desire will be for your husband,
And he will rule over you."

Ella,

I have the tape too. Usu, the bookshop wld sell the book with the tape. Perhaps you can write to the ministry and ask them to send you one. they wld be glad to do it. Her homepage is here:

http://www.comeholyspirit.com/ministry/mize/

It's not a new teaching really, my Pastor taught it too even b4 Jackie Mize wrote the book (i think). Of course, he got a lot of flak from women who had given birth with pain partly cos he wasnt even married then. But when Jackie Mize made it popular thru her book, our church women began to accept it. Now, we give a copy of the tape to any woman who is pregnant in our church.

We've had many supernatural childbirths among our church women too. Last Thu night, Pastor pointed to this woman in our church (she stood up) who is now 5 months pregnant. She had been believing God for 5 years to conceive although her doctors said it was impossible for her to get pregnant. She was no doubt very depressed and discouraged at times but held on to God's promises.

I pray too that you and your hubby's desires for a supernatural pain free, quick labour childbirth will come true in JESUS! NAME! Amen!

btw: some of my church's testimonies are here:

http://www.newcreation.org.sg/ourlordtestimonies.html

look for the ones on supernatural childbirth and be encouraged

shalom shalom. :)
