Gross satanic group, Odd Future

Have you heard of this group? Basically, it's a group of hip hop musicians from Los Angeles who are just taking over the blogosphere. Their albums have been making plenty of best of lists, been getting top reviews, and their popularity is thriving. Only problem? Their music is disgusting: it glorifies rape, murder, satanism, etc. Just go on youtube and search for Yonkers by Tyler, the Creator (viewer discretion is HIGHLY advised). Horrifying stuff. I feel like something needs to be done, and I'd recommend joining this group called Christians Against Odd Future. I'm not allowed to post links yet ( post count), but do a facebook search for "Christians Against Odd Future" and like the page.

How horrible. I don't have facebook, but I will make sure to warn people about this group. I know there was another group, Insane Clown Posse, that was similar and they became pretty mainstream a few years ago.

haha, I can assure this is not viral marketing for the group. If that's the result of this thread, I regret it. I just want people to understand the dangers, and also realize that there are some protests forming like "Christians Against Odd Future" (you can find it on facebook).

Seems like a viral campaign to me too. When the game Dante Inferno first trailer was released a few years ago the PR firm handling things hired some actors to play Christian protestors so it wouldn't be the first time I heard of something along these lines.

In any case, it's rap lyrics. They are supposed to be offensive due to the fact that rap is awful and they need to create publicity by other means than the quality of the music.

People don't go out and commit crime simply because they hear a song. There's a distinction between art (music, films, games etc.) and reality. Even young children realize this fact early in life.
