Ephesians 2:8-9 tell us that faith is a gift from God. The sinner is spiritual dead in their sins. They can not believe, because they will not believe. Therefore God can hold them accountable for their unbelief. When the grace of God falls on a person, God brings the person to the point where they WILL repent and they WILL believe and WILL be saved. Unless God reaches out to men to be saved, no one is getting saved.

What if the person resist God when God reaches out?

Yes! Faith is a gift! It was given to man when God created him in his image. God made man upright! We can laugh, cry, choose, and believe. Rm. 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness...Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them...so that they are without excuse. God is not a God of the dead! He commands all the living to believe. But if they reject God, then! they are left without excuse. So it's illogical that God chooses some in class A to elect to absolute salvation before the cross, and before they are born. And others in class A are grace challenged, seek challenged, and created with a corrupt nature, and as soon as they are corrupted again? through Adams sin thats passed down on all other souls, God rains down wrath upon them for sinning? Absurd! The gospel of Jesus Christ says, Heb.11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe... Faith is required, or you will not be justified! This is God's plan of salvation.

The Holy Spirit can be resisted, and the one who has resisted the Holy Spirit continually and finally will be left in a state of complete unbelief. Such a person won't be on this forum asking questions. ;)

Your next heartbeat is a gift.........
Your next breath is a gift..........
Each blink of your eye is a gift..........
And an eye is a gift, but it's also a privilege since not everyone has sight.

Faith is a privilege and carries responsibilities. Once released, the person is expected to release others.

Why would God reach out for the resistance. If He already knew, He wouldn't bother to think of reaching out. He called and NONE answered. He reached out and no one replied.
There would be nothing to reach for. The bottomless pits are already created. Someone is teaching you the possibility of resistance.

Everything is controlled by the objectives: God’s objective and man’s objective. God is objective driven so understanding His objective explains Jesus going to the cross, satan roaming the earth, tragedies of all kind, sin, hell and in this case why those that will never accept God’s forgiveness (and God knows them) are still allowed to roam the earth.

If faith is a gift, and God gives us faith, then it is God believing in Himself. Does God need to believe in Himself?

It's gramatically incorrect to say "it is the gift of God" refers to the word faith in Eph 2. Even John MacArthur agrees (and he's a Calvinist).

The gift of God is salvation. We access grace by faith (rom 5:2).

John 6
29Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent."

You forgot the context.

Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do?

Can you give us a quote where Johnny Mac states that?

I have Mounce's Basic Greek on my shelf. It's widely used and accepted as faithful and scholarly. He states that faith is a gift.

I never forget the context.

BTW- No sign is needed for me. God's work has already happened in me.
