In-like what? If the truth be known.... It should be as the bible states it..... If an alien Is hostle towards you.... Put them out and close the gates to the city..... Jericho comes to mind!

I guess it would depend on if you're a Christian or if you're Jewish? As a Christian we're held to different standards then Israel, so the question is: are you standing as a Christian or as a supporter of Israel, whether they're doing right or wrong?

The promise went to Issac (Jews) and his offspring and not to Ishmael.

The land doesn't belong to Israel anyways:
Leviticus 25:23
The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is mine and you reside in my land as foreigners and strangers.

God can do whatever He wants with His land, and no on can oppose Him nor thwart His will.

Why would your God be a racist? That doesn't fit with the loving image portrayed by Jesus.

My Bible just says "Abrahams descendents", nothing about "Abraham's descendents only by way of Isaac".

Anyway, I simply don't believe that the Palestinian/Arabs and the Israeli Jewish populations diverged 3000 years ago and never the twain have interbred since.

It might shock people to realize that Jews and Palestinians don't automatically hate each other or attack one another on sight.

It's not racism, it's God's sovereign choice, in the bible He still promised to be with Ishmael, and Abraham blessed the child, but the promise went to Issac. God is sovereign and He can choose to bless who He will bless and choose to not bless who He will not bless.

This image of God fits perfectly with who He is.

Old covenant -- in the New covenant, the promise went out to everyone, regardless of ancestry.

Petty tribal gods are best left to petty tribal peoples.

This is true, the promise of salvation is for all people, not just for the Jews.

That is a Messianic prophesy. Jesus was a descendant of Abraham and Issac, but not of Ishmael.

Is anyone going to comment on the fact that the opening post is in fact massively incorrect and no advisor to Obama said anything at all about invading Israel?
