Yeppers. John 15:10So the Law of Christ is different then His Father's law? I thought Jesus said that everything He was teaching was what the Father told Him to teach? Did the Father give Jesus a new set of laws for us or did Jesus just decide that the Father's laws were too harsh and as such gave us a different set? Where can I find the law of Christ's?
According to wiki, that word wasn't coined until about the 2nd centuryDo the words Saturday is the Sabbath appear in either of those refenences? It is what is requested by the sabbatarian on this board concerning Sunday.
Yeppers. John 15:10
Thanks LLoJ. So they can't say the Scripture states Saturday is the Sabbath. They can't even say that Saturday is the 7th day according to the new moon calendar on a regular basis. This is why the Passover can occur in March or April.According to wiki, that word wasn't coined until about the 2nd century
Saturday - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Saturday is the day of the week following Friday and preceding Sunday.
Saturday is the sixth day of the week according to international standard ISO 8601, or the last (seventh) day of the week in conventions that consider the week as beginning on Sunday.
Saturday was named no later than the 2nd century for the planet Saturn, which controlled the first hour of that day according to Vettius Valens. Its Latin name dies Saturni ("Saturn's Day") entered into Old English as Sæternesdæg.

If Josephus can be relied upon, it shows the feast of the Passover as 14th day of the 4th month. InterestingThanks LLoJ. So they can't say the Scripture states Saturday is the Sabbath. I think it does because it clearly distinguishes between the commandments of Jesus and the commandments of His Father. We know for a fact that Jesus said he kept the 10 Cs. What then are His Father's commandments? Is there any indication that Jesus kepts something in addition to the law? Where? Is Jesus saying He didn't keep the 10 Cs? How do you get around this without denying the trinity which is a requirement to post here and a psuedo statement of your FBs? I really would like an explanation please. That verse doesn't answer a single question I asked. Jesus said "If you keep my commands you will remain in my love"
That doesn't answer not a one of the questions I asked.
Yep and that is from a new moon calendar which always starts a month on the first day of the week without regard for when the last day of the month is at least in the Gregorian calendar. If Josephus can be relied upon, it shows the feast of the Passover as 14th day of the 4th month. Interesting
The Destruction of Jerusalem - George Peter Holford, 1805AD
..............The day on which Titus encompassed Jerusalem, was the feast of the Passover.............
...............This memorable siege terminated on the eighth day of the ninth month, A.D. 70 : its duration was nearly five months, the Romans having invested the city on the fourteenth day of the fourth month, preceeding.
As far as I know, only the religion of Judaism still celebrates thatYep and that is from a new moon calendar which always starts a month on the first day of the week without regard for when the last day of the month is at least in the Gregorian calendar.
Technically it's Saturday; When the Roman Constantine converted to Christianity he shifted it to Sunday to space Christianity from Judaism. And it's followed on ever since. There, I saved your thread from becoming pointless, that's the answer.

Okay so who invested him with the power to change the legal status thereof?Historically incorrect.
Constantine gave Sunday a legal status. He changed nothing.
Forgive me...
Okay so who invested him with the power to change the legal status thereof?
Absolutely not! Constantine didn't change anything - Christ did when He was raised from the dead.
Says who?
Please show where Christ made sunday a holy day?
