Hey everyone! I'm back again after a break of a few months. It was a rough last semester! But I am engaged now, and getting ready for wedding etc. and school and busy-ness!

I wanted to ask for prayer because I am the new OCF (Orthodox Christian Fellowship) president at my university, and it is an exciting but big job with plenty of responsibilities. If you have any tips or suggestions or anything at all, I welcome it all. I would particularly like to introduce charity work into this semester's OCF, and I am nervous and excited about the change (we all know how Orthodox folk take change!)

Thanks, and blessings on you.

congrats on becoming your OCF president. retreats and talks are good ways to get the Orthodox name on campus. I would also recomend doing some kinda yearly service stuff especially if it's service stuff that the school offers (like a March for Life or something).

prayers for you!

Congratulations on your engagement and on become the OCF president. I held that position at my university almost 7 years ago now. I think since then the national OCF office can offer many more resources, programing and support to chapters than they could years ago and it's so exciting to see. My first word of advice is to make sure that you have opportunities to worship together. Whether you all attend Sunday Liturgy together, arrange for a priest to serve on campus or even hold reader's services it's so important. You probably already know to always try to offer food at fellowship events, hmm what else. Service opportunities are great, if you can participate in campus wide service opportunities as a team (visibly- i.e. with group shirts or something) it can be a great bonding opportunity for your group and witness for the campus. Best of luck on all fronts!

Bestest evah shirt suggestion that I saw was one that said,

"Orthodox Christian Fellowship" on the front, and on the back,
"Kickin' It Old School Since 33A.D."

:DThat's genius!! Do you think I could copy that? I wonder where that's from!!!
