Hello to all fellow believers, I am of course new to the board. I'm here to ask all of you to pray that this situation get's better. My mother recently filed a divorce paper with thanks with some charity money from her parents (Which my father is still miffed about.) The trial which will decide wether or not my mother and father will be divorced. My mother of course lied to me, saying that this would be a temporary seperation, which I would soon learn that today was really a cover up for a divorce. Of course when my dad called me and my sister to the table to talk to us about something, it turned out bigger than I thought it would. My dad had told me and my sister the story about what my mother did, her parents supporting her, and some other tid bits. Inside, I was sad that my mother lied to me and that if this divorce would be successful, I would be torn apart from my family. My family and me have always been christian believers, and I'm still shocked that my mom wanted to go through with this. She had told me she wouldn't divorce my dad, and today found out she lied about that. How ever, I urge you all to pray that this divorce doesn't happen. I love my parents, and I don't want them to divorce. I have been with them for 14 years and I just don't want this to happen. My dad has told me that if this divorce is sucessful, then my mom might sell the house I'm living in and buy a house near the beach. My friends mean alot to me as well, I've moved over 3 times in the past, and I just feel that leaving my house near my good friends might be a big blow to me. I urge you to pray that this divorce doesn't happen. I know that if this happens, the lord would be hurt that this divorce is happening. My father told me a while back that whenever a couple divorce, it hurts the lord alot. And if the lord is hurt, I'll be hurt, and above all else, my family will be hurt. Please, I urge you once again to pray this divorce does not happen. You all have till tuesday to make prayers that this does not happen, for that is when my parents will take this divorce case to court. God bless you all, and thank you for listening to me.

Oh by the way, if any of you did read this post then I implore you to get some friends and relatives you know to pray that this divorce doesn't happen. If you could, Then I'd be forever grateful.

Lord_Is_Good,

Jesus said where three are gathered in My name so will I be there.
Claim it.

But I want to share with you.. I know this is a rough time for you and I want you to know that we Love you.
I also want you to understand in your Heart.. that this is NOT your Fault. Sometimes Children feel responsible for their Parents Divorce. It is not the Childerens fault.

Secondly.. Love your Mom as you do your Dad... I know that's hard.. But she is your Mother. I've seen to often Parents Blaming each other for the reasons.

Lastly.. Keep the Faith.. Love God with All your heart.. Sure he's Grieving over what's going on.. But he LOVE YOU.. no matter what happens with your parents.

We will be Praying for you AND your Parents.

God Bless...

Praying for you and your parents, Lord is Good. I agree with what the others have said. Have you had a chance to talk with your mom about this and about how you feel? I think it would be good to share your feelings with her as well as with your father. And you can always certainly talk to God about your feelings. He will never leave you or forsake you.

 and

Alright then, here's an update on the status of this divorce thing. Apparently, I was worng about the divorce paper part, for it seems my dad must've thought about it wrong for a minute. Cause it is infact, papers for a legal seperation. My mom later showed me the papers to prove they weren't divorce papers. However, my mom has told me if here lawler does tell here not to contend with divorcing my dad, then I guess that's the end of this chapter. However, I urge you all to continue praying this does not happen, and all goes well. If any of you have any prayer meetings at your church, house, or even if it's unofficial for that matter, then please mention this situation and pray that this divorce doesn't happen. Once again, thanks for hearing me out, and thanks for your continued praying and support :) .

My parents have already gone to court, and things seem to be looking a bit okay now. However, the final decision will be decided a month and a half from now. However, while you pray that this situation doesn't go bad, I also ask you pray for my house. Why my house you ask? Will in alot of divorce or legel seperation trials, the judge may decide to ask one of the parents to sell the house. However, I don't really want to move again from this nice neighborhood I'm living in right now. You see, I have moved 3 times in the past years I have lived, and I don't really want to move again. The judge however, on occasion, might give the house to one of the parents to live in during a divorce or legal seperation. So while I continue to ask that you pray that my parents don't get divorced, I also ask you pray that I might be able to keep my house.
