What are you gonna do?

Envy me.. Coz i have it all planned out... well not all... God has plans for us so i don't plan much on my own... back to the topic.. I currently plan on staying in New York to get a bachelors in Computer Science and want to go somewhere down south for my masters... probably california or somewhere around texas...

Well the Lord knows what I am to do with my life. so if he tells me to go a certain direction, then I am but to obey

but what I'd like to do is something along the lines of a veteranarian or some kind of Animal Doctor type job

I volunteer at different places like my local vet an the pound to help with exp.

we shall see I have a alot ahead of me, I'm still young
but that's something I'd wanna do :3

I am going to be a mechanical engineer. I've dreamed to work for BMW

I might even double major in mechanical engineering and electrical/Or computer engineering when I get to college.

That's cool though, for sure. I was gonna be a vet for awhile, when I was younger (13/14.) but, then I started feeling that I should do something else.
I still don't know what that thing is, but I'm thinking something in the missions field, but more ministering to homeless people, showing them that they are people, not just trash like everyone thinks they are.
I've thought about forestry, or carpentry.
But, I'd love to be a professional photographer or a musician, but I know those would be hard to achieve.
I still have no clue though. lol. .

and I think that's a wonderful plan... I've thought about adopting a little baby from Africa once I'm old enough
I'd love to give him/her a good home
whatever it is I do I'm sure God will let me know what He wants me to do.

Interesting topic,

Well this October I will be going to University to do Philosophy (In the UK we either have one main degree or a split degree of two equal halfs).

I'll do that for 3 or 4 years and then I have no idea after that. I have no plan for a job after that...... just see where life takes me for now.

Originally I wanted to go in to ICT (computers), then physics, and finally chose philosophy..... though I did consider theology for a while and working for the church.

I'm in the same boat as you HarborOrange. I don't really have much of an idea of whats next college-wise or major. Originally I wanted to do Graphic Design, but took a course this summer on it and decided it wasn't really for me. So that dashed all my college plans I might turn to Radio Broadcasting, or producing radio shows. Might be a better fit, always have loved Christian radio. But either way, I'm sure I won't know what I want to do for years to come, and then some. I'll probably have a couple regrets too, but thats life Wouldn't have it any other way, honestly. I wouldn't worry too much if you don't know exactly whats next, all the pieces will come together soon enough.

(p.s. Couldn't agree more with the living in Alaska. I always wanted to live there or a coastal town in Washington; in terms of the US.)

I really dont know, butI have a dream . Not too long ago I really wanted a career instead of a family, but now all I really want is to be a wife and mother. Take care of the hubby, teach and raise the kids myself, keep my veggie patch and help look after the farm...........lol! I know, its not really this decades vision, but it appeals to me.

Thats a good life style too though

yeh, its definately is. Not near as stressful as the rat race. lol!

I'm going to be a rock star! Literally, I have been working non-stop for weeks now on songs and music for songs that I have written, I feel that God is leading me to music for my life, I love it and hope I can do it! But I know that God will help me if that's the place he wants me!

Actually I dont know, yet. My plans for my future is to go to a bible-school right after I have finished the ordinary school and then let God lead me
And other things that i want to do in my future is do adopt, get married, give blood to hospitals, live earth-friendly, grow a garden with all kinds of fruits, vegetables and berries and stuff like that.

I just started studying theology at Helsinki university. I'll have to narrow my major down though, and I think I'll go for either exegetics or systematic theology. When I get my master's degree I hope that I'll be a pastor (and do lots of different things within that profession - missionary work would be just one interesting field)..

Sounds good. I was considering doing theology at one point but in the end went for Philosophy.

Is exegetics how your understand the Bible?

Military medic. Then possibly medical work in ER. We'll see.
