What is written bellow, is about financial needs, but I think, it can apply for other needs, like emotional or whatever;
Your life, is more important to God, than food, house or whatever else is, and your body, is more important to God, than any clothes, because, you are made in the image of God, who is Love, and your house, clothes, money, jobs are not. God cares for his temple, which is what your bodies are - Matthew 6:25
God loves you enough, to be willing to surrender his son Jesus to die for you. Also, Psalm 103 says that his love for you, is as high as the heavens above. Look at Psalm 31:19. If God loves you so much, do not you think, that he is willing to provide for you and help you?
Your pain, is his pain, because he loves you. When a child is in pain and suffering, it hurts the father also.
All he is asking is, that we will trust in his love for us, and put our faith in it - Galathians 5:6
The love of God for us, like enithing else, has to be accepted with faith, and has to be trusted, or otherwise, it feels rejected and we can not express itself in our lives.
Think about what king David did, when he had all sorts of problems and troubles on every side. Look at the Psalms, and notice what he trusted most,.... the love of God for him. That is what he hoped, that because God loved him so much, he would help him and deliver him.
Everything God does for us, or gives us, everything he said as a promises in his Word for us, is for one reason alone, his love for us...
God loves you not because of who you are, or how holly you are before him or what you do for him, but, because of who he is - Love, and because of what Jesus did for us on the cross.
Try to replace the word God, with the word Love in the Bible, in your mind, when you read. Start with the Psalms.
