Because there has been new knowledge over the years about the universe and just how God went about the creation of the universe. The problem is, all new information has to be checked against the Bible for accuracy. In some cases, this has not been done and a lot of error has crept in.

Nothing, and I mean absolutely, positively nothing has any value at all, unless you can check it out in the Bible and only there will you find if this new knowledge is true or false. Far to many people have tried to present things that just are not true because they do not check out that information in the word of God.

Really, people try and say the Bible is not true. A book that has been tested and tried and found to be true again and again though every generation. If they try to say the Bible is not true, then at best that tells me they can not discern between truth and error. Thus they are unreliable and untrustworthy.

What is the point your trying to make?

The Bible is true, you know it is the truth of God. You know that God stands behind the Bible to back it up. The same God that created this universe stands behind the Bible to fulfill it. If you do your part, you can be sure He will do His part. If your not willing to do anything, then don't expect that He is going to do anything.

If you want evidence, then get up off of your butt and prove it, or try to disprove it. Sitting there in denyal is not going to get you anywhere at all, and you know it.

At least the four leprous men had enough sense to ask: "Why are we sitting here until we die?" 2 Kings 7:3 Are you going to just sit there and do nothing and die in your sin? Why when God is freely willing to give you life. Freely it is given, so why do you not freely receive all of what He has for you?

You DO NOT Fool God even one tiny bit. He has your number. He can tell you how many cells are in your big toe nail before and after you cut them, If you ever cut them. He made you and He knows all about you. You don't fool Him even one tiny bit.

You don't even fool yourself, so why do you expect that your going to fool Him? Get up off of you butt and decide that your going to live for God and serve Him withall your heart, mind, soul, and strength. He will provide the way, He will provide for you all that you would ever want or need.

Do you even know what your talking about? Galileo invented the telescope and he came up with some new information. Along with Copernicus theories they were coming up with a whole new theorty of astronomy. So much so that some people call it the old and the new astronomy. But their ideas and theorys were so new that no had a chance to check them out yet to see if they were accurate or not. The church put some restrictions on Galileo that he agreed to, then he broke his agreement.

We have the luxery today of looking back with 20=20 vision. But if you want to understand what was going on at that point in history, you have to look at it from their perspective.

But you do not seem to have any regard for facts, truth or history, you seem content to spread myths, in some sort of a show of hatred against Christians. Now even 20-20 vision does not allow me to make any sense out of people who would twist and warp the truth and history to serve no good purpose at all.

Because I am not a muslim, I am a christian. I know that the Bible is the word of God and that is has the full authority of God. He watches over it to perform it.

Our law is just words on a paper, but the government backs it up. The Bible is backed up by God Himself. The power of God is behind it so that you can have full assurance in it's trustworthyness.

I am sure there are some hard working muslim scientists. The mumlim claim at one time they made quite a contribution to science.

But now all the research is going on here in America, one nation under God, where we believe in the Bible. The muslim world under the koran does not seem to be doing much of anything, other than maybe producing chemical weapons and terrorism.

If anyone would like to talk about what contrabutions a muslum country under the koran and muslim law is making to the collective effort, I would be glad to hear what they have to say about it.

English when through quite a bit of change to adapt it to the printing press over 500 years ago. Up to 50 years ago, the printing press had not changed all that much. When I was a kid they still had to physically set type. I have a friend in the printing business and he still has a big old printing press that he sets each individual letter in place to print out something. Of course his business is not doing very good, because he is not able to keep up with the competition that has all the modern printing equipment. The cost has gone up quite a bit also. It use to be cheap to buy a book, but now they are pretty expensive.
