i once looked at the ages of humanity as seven days of creation through the typology and the protestants ended up being fish when contrasted with the "emergent" landmass . so i'm kinda chuckling to myself . tee hee .

You can have your cake & edict, too.
But they rejected a Diet for an Edict of Worms .. so it still might have to do with food

My first of 2 sons wasn't, & neither was my older brother.
What I proposed was that you're finding of adolescence was accelerant plenty.
Living is best here in protestant forefathered America, away from the flashpoints of more orthodox sectarian militants.
By that means, feel free to protest!

yes protestants who consider themselves "biblical separatists" would have a problem with any ecumenical statement .

but don't you see....its the anti-catholics who keep the Catholic church going, the RC church now thrives on victimhood. Ever watch the Catholic channel on sky?:- they're even hyper-criticising their own religion.
Time to get back to real Christianity and forget about all the RC 'church' tradition.
. The problem to christian unity is the Pope, so instead of trying to convince him that he has to change, simply forget about him, and concentrate on building a christian brotherhood with all the other denominations.

How about we all worry more about working for the Kingdom together, studying scripture and praying together, and what we can learn from each other; less about trying to correct each other, and let God worry about how he can re-unite us?
