Some people say God wants a personal relationship with us and I don't understand that. God knows everything. Am I to entertain the notion he is interested in what I think about chicken nuggets, fast cars and loose women?
What is the morality of a personal relationship with God?

We can talk to God about anything. Yes, I believe He's interested, even though He already knows what we think.
For me, it's kinda like my relationship with my children. Even when I already *know* what they want or what they think, I like them to tell me. It keeps lines of communication open between my child and me (that takes practice). It also helps them to feel important to me, which they are.
