Thank you all again!

What he told me is that because his leg was so infected - that it burst...he wasn't cut.

Where he works is rather close to NY line. AND they are suspicious that the wounds he received [quite a few red itchy marks] might be from... :sorry: bed bugs from the hotel he stays in.
In which, his is a very bad case. For now, they also suggest we don't touch him for in case it is infectious.

Sickening - and gross.

He might not be out til Tuesday... we don't know for sure - depending on the dermatologist says.

And i am still suffering from poison something or other... and it could even be chiggers some folks said. But i believe it is poison oak.

Neither did we.
So we have all his stuff bagged up... in plastic where it isn't to see the light of day til it hits the washer and super hot dryer.

I honestly hope and pray those things don't end up here. :cry:

I am hearing it is spreading rather quickly around the East...and hit in Pa...as well as NY.
Read also in the 40's - 50's they got rid of bed bugs... stronger stuff was used to get rid of them. :crossrc:I pray we don't get them. For extra measure - i put double sided sticky tape around the bed tonight to be sure....i read this will determine if they are around.

~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks also for prayers for my rash, i have had this rash nearly 2 weeks. Last week i literally ripped at my skin with my nails...it did feel good, but i think i probably shouldn't have.
Have to get up early, get kids off to school and visit my husband til it's time to get kids. [35 minute travel]
HE should be climbing walls by tomorrow...he hates staying still for very long in a room.
My husband wants to find a small apt to stay in ...he has been pretty traumatized and doesnt want to go back to the hotel.
Plus now his hand is swelling even with antibiotics - the clinic on Thurs thot it was a different sort of bug bite he got on his hand.
Maybe spider? We dont know - it is swelling in spite of meds, so he is pretty concerned how badly it hurts too.
Thanks for all the prayers.... definitely need them.
Continued prayers. St. Dominic of Silos. Patron against insects. And since a bite like that is likely a kind of poison St. Benedict and John the Apostle.
How awful that bed bugs can do so much damage.
I've seen flea bombs in stores, but I don't even know if there's anything that can be done to exterminate a home from bed bugs.
I heard they can live for 14 days without food....so you'd better keep your hubby's things wrapped in plastic for at least 14 days.
I hope he'll recover quickly.
