October is the month of the rosary...

I still struggle with this form of prayer. But I'm going to try to make more of an effort this month. Something my priest said today which I did not know, it is recommended that laity pray the rosary at least once a month. News to me.

So anyone going to devote more time to the rosary this month?

If the whole thing is too much--just pray one decade a day. Or leaving out most of the Hail Mary's and just praying one Hail MAry while meditating on each of the 20 mysteries.

I think you'd probably really do well with a Scriptural Rosary.

I'd like more info on the Scripture Rosary?

Whats funny is a took to the Divine Mercy really quickly. The Rosary is something I just cannot acclimate myself to for some reason.

I will try to.

I will add that when I was hospitalized for nine days I found that praying the Rosary brought a lot of Peace to me.

So far I've been so busy that I've just done sporadic Hail Mary's. Hoping to do better starting tomorrow.
