I got this yesterday and it really spoke to me thought it might
speak to you. Holding the rope for saul acts 9v25.
acts 9v25 says that a basket touched the ground on a dark night in Damascus when some of the disciples risked their lives to lower Saul of Tarsus down a wall to safety. At the time, all the disciples knew as they held the rope was that the counsel was out to kill Saul. They didn't know that Saul would become the great Apostle Paul who would establish more churches, win more souls, and write more books of the Bible than any other man who had ever lived. You don't know what the person at the end of your rope might become. It may be a young person or an older one, someone who knows God or someone who doesn't but you dont know what seed of faith has been planted in their hearts. You dont know the fire thats starting to burn in them so hold on to their rope. Their basket may be ready to touch the ground.
I think at some time you could put us all in Saul's position. In the basket and needing someone to lower us down to safety to solid ground. I believe that there are many here Jesus's disciples Lori that are holding on to that rope through prayer for Rocky, you and your whole family. Not letting go of the rope Lori.

Hello all. Thankyou for asking journey...well, they just got back from their trip to Disney World. They received a free week there from the Make a Wish Foundation, that was actually Ashleys wish(his 3 year old daughter with spina bifida). When the Foundation was informed of Rocks health situation, they granted her wish ASAP.So it was a wonderful blessing...
He is in chemo. It's really been ok, for the most part, this last week, he's developed a really bad sore throat, so he is going in tomorrow to have his platelets checked...
He has distanced himself from all of us here recently. This last Friday was the first time I had spoken to him in 3 weeks.We are trying to understand, and know he has reached a point in time, where he needs to deal with somethings on his own. It's still very hard. We still feel the need to hear his voice and know how he is. I have alot of faith in the doctors he is working with at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Bethesda Naval Hospital. I think he's got some of the best...I'm not really for sure where we go from here, as in MRI's, CTs and so on...part of me would really like to know, how things look in there, if it's shrinking, and part of me doesn't want to know. Double edged sword...
Please keep him and his wife and baby girl in your prayers. I believe God is in control, and I pray for all of us to just live in the center of his will.
