Our church recently had a dear lady who decided to go off her heart medication and 'stand in faith' for her healing.
Consequently my wife and I had to drive a hundred miles an hour for 3 hours at 3 am to go lay hands on her in the hospital as she was attempting to die.
The good news is that she is now recovered and on her way home.
This is a prime example of being foolish verses being in faith - I have NEVER and I repeat NEVER suggested that anyone go off their medication. In fact I teach to stay on your medication while standing in faith and when you no longer need the medication your doctor will figure it out.
Why do people get the idea that taking medicine negates their faith?
