The Lord says "If I was hungry I wouldn't tell you" and I agree with Him! There are so-o-o-o-o many people I would never tell if I was hungry (or sick, or fighting with the wife, or discouraged, or so on and so forth).

But seen as you are truly my family of faith can you please agree with me for two things (for the ministry):

1) That 30 people would be inspired to give us £20 a month towards our radio ministry in the next two months. That would be sufficient for us to pay all our bills in advance and alleviate any burden that would otherwise be on the church, or me!

2) I have just found out it will cost £2500 to send everyone in my town a postcard inviting them to the church. I really really want to do this. This covers the cost of printing, designing and distributing. We did 1/4 of the town last week for a crusade (10000 people) and it brought over 50 people into the church. So, logically, distributing something to the whole town could easily bring 100+ people into the church! That would be a blessing! Also, it would get the town talking which is what we need! I am not going to make a special plug for this at church, but please pray for the money to come in in a way that gives glory to God.

Amen! Standing with you believing for prosperity to come in the form of what you are asking for - may God supply ALL your needs above and beyond all your expectations - for His glory alone. May God's will be done...

That's part of the reason I started posting again here is that we are no longer yoked to the non Word Faith crowd.

I used to allow myself to read books that had good teaching in part even if part was contrary to my beliefs but God gave me a revelation that if I had a piece of meat and just part of it was rotten and stinking would I try and eat the part that seemed good or throw it out?

Consequenlty that cured me of reading stuff that is out of line with my beliefs even if part of it is good.

I've just read The Apostle of Faith Down Under by Cole Stringer - it's all about Smith Wigglesworth in Australia and New Zealand and all the healings and miralces and also about his life with his wife etc - being an Aussie myself, this one really spoke to me LOL.

I'm usually a big reader, but lately I've been watching movies instead - I've just watched 'Facing the Giants' and the old classic 'The Cross and the Switchblade'...

I'd like to read something new soon - would someone please recommend a good recent one by Kenneth Copeland or his wife? I just love watching BVOV LOL!

Gloria has a commentary on Proverbs called something or other. My wife and I read it together last year and it was excellent.

Her new book about God's plan for your life is also awesome.

Two sources of blessing I heartily recommend, although with both of them you really need to turn your "witnesser" on. Don't let anyone talk you out of what you witness to, even if they're mysteries.

Richard Sigmund - My Visit to Heaven (absolutely awesome!) God has confirmed so much of this to me, I have to remind myself to be wise who I share stuff out of it with. Too many people read the scripture where Paul couldn't lawfully discuss what he heard in Heaven. That doesn't mean there aren't things lawful to discuss. The books takes you closer to God. The voice of the good shepherd. You can scoff about people's trips to Heaven if you will, but I'm telling you there is a blessing in this book!

Also, go to Dave Roberson's website and look under the prophecies section. There are pdf files with 3-4 years worth of prophecies/tongues-interpretation. Again, test everything. Hold fast to that which is good. As they say in this case: "It's all good!" Prepare to grow. Assuming the Lord has worked certain precepts within you, many of these are readily receivable and very edifying. The Lord simplifies everything to where we just learn to trust Him.

The Shaping of an Apostle - June Newman Davis (overcoming with the Word and Spirit) Highly recommended. Make sure you read it when you're renewed and not distracted, because you will want to hear clearly. Some of her testimony will blow your mind. Some will protest because of what Paul said about what he saw and couldn't repeat. Ezekiel and John saw stuff too and we heard what they said.
