Let me put my share of words into this. I'm actually a homosexual I guess u could say. I've had relationships in the past and lately since I'm getting my walk with the lord a whole lot stronger I'm beginning to feel that Homosexuality is in fact a sin.

See I'm wanting to walk with God much stronger and more powerful before and I strongly am feeling that if I lay everything that is toxic to my walk with him it will be cured. Its a matter of time. So coming from a Homosexual itself I think it may in fact or possibly be a sin. I do know that with my recent walk with God and I look at a guy in any sexual way I feel hurt and just filthy.

My problem is that I can't seem to find a single New Testament verse actually talking about homosexuality. What is a homosexual offender? To me that sounds like a molester or a sexual predator.
In the past I believed it was wrong and used Old Testament verses to defend my part. After learning that the New Testament is our new law with the Lord... it doesn't seem that theres a solid defense.
So i've struggled with believing that it is a sin. I have a hard time believing that the verses presented like Romans and 1 Cor. are talking about homosexuality as we see it.

That being said... i think I should say I am not homosexual so no one assumes anything from my post.

Maybe you should read your Bible again Because it is in The Bible. It in the old and New Testament.

The word homosexual wasn't used much back in the day. The KJV uses the word effeminate: which means un-manly or womanish. I don't think that has anything to do with homosexuality (or perhaps it does???)

I don't see why you have a hard time believing that the verse in Romans is speaking about homosexuality. It seems clear that Romans defines same sex relations as something unnatural, something that begins from the lust of the heart and grows as the knowledge of God declines within that person.

We have to look at the original plan of God, and that is clear when he created man and woman. Man for woman, woman for man. A man should leave his house and be united with his wife, and the 2 become 1. It is a sin like any other sin, but I have heard of people who were completely delivered from that bondage.

But I cannot judge a homosexual. In fact there is something that has totally confused me. Have you heard of a Hermaphrodite? It is a person or animal that has both male and female sexual organs or part thereof.

This confused me! I mean, if a person could be born with both male and female sexual organs then it seems possible for a Man to have an innate desire for another man or vice versa.

I need God to reveal the truth on this matter!

Nice trying to worm your way around the Scriptures.
Not only is Romans 1 clearly talking about homosexuality, the word in 1 Cor 6:9 and 1 Tim translated homosexual is the ESV is effeminate in KJV, which is "of a catamite", "of a boy kept for homosexual relations with a man", "of a male who submits his body to unnatural lewdness" or "of a male prostitute".

Perhaps you should go read my post.
You struggle with believing it's a sin because you try and justify sin even though the Word of God is clear.
Fact is, you don't have to believe it's sin for it to be sin, you don't have to believe in God for there to be a God, but you will be held accountable for your trying to justify it around Scripture when God has been very clear about it.

Your telling me I'm worming my way around because I don't know translated words? The 1 Cor. verse says homosexual offender.... that doesn't sound like its talking about two people in love to me.
And why do I need to repent? I am not committing homosexual acts. I am merely searching for answers on a subject of study.
Anyways there is NO reason to jump on other people for believing differently.

I am disgusted with a lack of abhorrence of the original subject (Romans 12:9 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil) every single one of you who support homosexuality or are indifferent need repent, if the Lord be willing. You are all dogs. explodingboy, JesusSaved, Isambard, Trashionista, WiredSpirit and any I may have missed. I charge you to not claim the name of my Savior until you repent from your sin.
Romans 2:24 "For “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” as it is written."

1 Corinthians 5 "It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans," the sin reported in 1 Corinthians 5 is now acceptable in the world, as is homosexuality. The majority of PAGANS do not practice homosexuality, a great amount do not even tolerate it, and you dogs are claiming it is acceptable within the body? "And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn?" And you all boast your opinions so proudly on the internet, "I see nothing wrong with it", "homosexuality is not wrong". SHOULD YOU NOT MOURN YOUR DEPRAVITY? Paul's solution, "Let him who has done this be removed from among you." Dear God, please remove offenders from your Holy Church.

There is no room in the perfect body of Christ for an abomination such as blatant homosexuality.
One of you claimed that Paul was speaking to the Romans only about pagan worship through homosexuality, you're a fool if you justify your or others actions by trying to make the Word of God relevant and discredit God's commands.

1 Corinthians 6:9: Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,

1 Timothy 1:9 understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality,

Romans 1:18..26..32: For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them...For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due...who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Jude 1:7..11..12.. as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries... Woe to them!... These are...wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

There is forgiveness for ALL homosexual offenders who turn to Christ and turn from their sin, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Please, do NOT get me wrong, I am NOT saying to go out and openly condemn homosexuals and sinners. We are to show them LOVE and ACCEPTANCE because Christ loves and accepts them. But for you who claim Christs name who try and justify and rationalize sin, you are wrong. You are in fault, and you are in danger of the coming judgement.

John admonishes us in 1 John 3 "He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil."

Just as Romans 1:32 says, if you are a homosexual and try and justify your actions, or support those who do, you are deserving of death, and you will receive the just reward for your transgression unless you repent.

2 Peter 2:6 "and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;"
Sodom and Gomorrah was an example for all those who live ungodly, especially practicing the sins that had Sodom and Gomorrah.

Psalms 7:11 "God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day."
Psalm 5:5 "The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity."
Psalm 11:5 "The LORD tests the righteous, But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates."

This is on top of the SLEW of teachings from Christ Himself, Paul, Peter and every writer against adulterous relationships and fornication.

There is no RELEVANTIZING the Bible. Just as clearly as Paul says to the Romans, the Corinthians and to Timothy to preach to ALL CHURCHES TIMOTHY IS OVER, homosexuality is sin and condemned today.
Every single person on here need repent or grow a backbone. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 16:13 "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong."
For all of you who don't understand King James English, it'd appear most of you think Paul is telling you to stop being men. He's saying BE A MAN.

John says in Revelation Chapter 21 verse 8 that the FEARFUL will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, those who are scared to stand for Christ and His word, but buckle under the pressure of mere men, even on the internet.

You are all dogs, repent quickly, grieve not the Spirit if the Spirit live in you. Each one of you should be handed over to Satan and destroyed, that your soul may be saved on the Day of the Lord.

NiobiumTragedy You are correct, the state of christianity (with a lower case c) is disgusting and as Leonard Ravenhill said, "I am ashamed to be part of the "church of Jesus Christ" because it's an embarrassment to a Holy God."
May those who cry "EXTREMEIST" or fall into apathy over God's commands repent or be anathema.

Sketcher, the end is no where in sight. Heretics such as Brian McLaren, Rob Bell and others of the Emergent Liberal movement are propagating this doctrine heavily, to question authority of Scripture, to make it relevant to certain people and times, Rob Bell has gone as far as claiming "Scripture was wrote by men with agendas". These are men who try and make Christianity acceptable before the eyes of men, Paul says
"For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ."
Pray these men repent and publically renounce this heresy

But we know this must happen before the end will come, 2 Tim 4:3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables."

I hope this has answered the question of what GOD thinks about homosexuality, for my opinion means absolutely NOTHING.
May every single one of you repent that have no backbone to stand up for God and His Word, pray that He forgive you and will not do the same to you in front of the Father on that Great Day.
I agree with this. Like I said coming for a homosexual seeing this is truth and is Light. I really have to say I've been strongly talking and walking with God and I'm seeing it clearly now. The verses that u have quoted are just astonishing and it hurts me to see that people can't open up to these verses and see the Truth.

I pray for all of u that are practicing homosexuals to please open up to God and lure him in. Through Christ our Lord all Things are possible.

I beg u please listen to God. If there is any homosexuals who are reading this please let me share with u what God has done for me. He is a just and jealous God and wants u and wants u to lead to him the right way he has intended.

...what does the word effeminate have to do with homosexuality?

While some people think its clear... its really clear if different words are being used or whatever xD I just only wanted to know because sometimes people try to debate with me, lol.

If you commit a sin you're no different than a gay person. I don't get why we say "Sin X is Bad, but Sin Z is HORRRRIBBBLLLE."

I know Gay men who are better "christians" (Aside from being gay) than some christian strait ppl I know. Some of you guys are off your rockers!
Bit late response but ok,

The thing is, repentance is a big part of Christian life. If you accept Homosexuality and say oooh it's no problem it's great, it's natural and God is wrong, is that repenting? Is that acknowledging the wisdom of God? Is that acknowledging the righteousness of God? Is that saying his word is infallible? No it isn't. I sin, way way way more than I'd like, and I'm griefstruck by it everytime, but alot of them aren't. Yes they go through periods of problems but they don't want to acknowledge the error of their ways, much like alot of Atheists don't want to acknowledge their failures in the eyes of the Lord, which I know for a fact is one of the reasons people try to deny God. It is this that is the problem. Does someone that is tempted to be a homosexual and that falls to it damned? Or a worse sinner than I am? No clearly they are not, but if you are unrepentant you got a serious problem in your spiritual life and relationship with God, and there is the problem. Also I need to point out, homosexuality has consequences for your health, that can be quite severe. People need to realise that the Law is not in place for us to be checked, and controlled, but because God loves us so much he wants the best for us.
So in short is Homosexuality a sin? Yes it is. Is it worse than other sin? No, but they should acknowledge the fact that it is sin so they can tackle it, and they don't. God wants to work on you, and help you get over your sin, but you need to let him, most homosexuals are rather stuck in their own sin. Having said this, we need to speak to the homosexual community with Love. That is of extreme importance Love them.

I would write more but my back is killing me, so I'm going to say Good night.

My issue believing that that verse is is talking about homosexuality is that it uses the word offender.

A criminal offender is is an offender because he's a criminal. Nobody says, "Him being a criminal doesn't bother me. It's the fact that he was offending while committing the crime that bothers me." Homosexual offenders are people whose offense is homosexuality. I'm pretty sure God made a point in the Old Testament that He's not a big fan of homosexuality.

Leviticus 20:13 - "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them."

See, God doesn't just say, "Don't do that." He points out that you shouldn't do it because it's absolutely disgusting. A lot of things God said to do or not to do in the OT was for our own health and safety. He didn't go around saying that many acts were absolutely disgusting, though. Which reminds me of this, if I may break the seriousness:

Which begs the question: why are agnostics/atheists* even exerting the effort to post here, especially since the OP was specifically addressed to Christians?

*Well, they claim to be atheistic, but obviously must believe in the devil, whose malevolent disciples, particularly "homophobes" and "bigots", they righteously long to exterminate.

I wasn't aware Christians existed in some sort of vaccuum where the only people they debated alongside were Christians. And isn't it a bit of a mistake to assume all Christians are as bigoted and homophobic as Fallwell's disciples in this discussion?

The NKJV is an excellent translation.
I have that version. However I do not know other translated words that supposedly tell us what other words in the Bible mean... like that one word you used before but i dont remember what it is now though.

Homosexual offender means simply, a homosexual. The Bible is littered with passages that condemn homosexuality without even using the word, but describe it's practice. Romans 1:18+ is a great example. Whether two people be "in love" or not, it is unnatural and God is disgusted at it.
Does the Bible specificly state that homosexual offender means that?
And how do you know that homosexuality is referred to as sexual immorality?

You quote verses talking about righteousness but how do you know its unrighteous just because it was mentioned in the OT. I was talking to my boyfriend earlier today and told him about the NT verses about homosexuality (no he isn't homosexual. he just debates with me, lol) and he said "But they aren't Jesus' words." What am I supposed to say to that?

Please accept my apology for the accusation of "trying to worm about" if you were not. Most do.
apology accepted :D

First, let me start off by saying, not only is this a Christian forum (which would, to me, make sense that most of the members here are Christians, thus me not having to go through and weed out the comments made by non Christians and exclude them.) but secondly and more importantly, because non Christians are more than welcome to post anywhere, other than when some one ends the post by saying, "Anyway, what do other Christians think here?"
That should indicate that he's not interested in what Agnostics or Atheists have to say.
Thus, when people reply, it will be because they're giving their CHRISTIAN opinion.
Seems to me that if you are a (1) non Christians with (2) non Christian morals, you asked to get disagreed with.
However, in reply,

Sorry champ. I don't worship, let alone repent to small gods.
You think He's a small God until you stand before Him in all of His Almighty power, and as you're unable to bear the wrath of his mighty and fierce vengeance he mocks you, unless you come to accept His mercy now.

Proverbs 1:24 "Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. “ Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the LORD, They would have none of my counsel And despised my every rebuke."

Psalm 2: "The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.”
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure:"

Mourn what depravity? Just because some guy 2000 year ago had some sort of vision and considered himself the King of Morality doesn't mean I should follow him, let alone take him seriously. If I were to take him seriously under such flimsy criteria, I might as well also follow all the Muhammed and Joseph Smith's of the world as well.

Flimsy? I don't even have time to get into an argument here with you about the validity of the Bible and His claims, even by secular historians. Have you ever done your research on the matter? Obviously not.
Here's one clearly logical way to show it wasn't real.
Let's say it was all a lie. Everything in the Bible.
People generally don't lie about things that get them killed, so Jesus died (historically) to say He was God, that would have been foolish.
How much more foolish would a bunch of people (Peter and the Apostles, Paul and Jesus' family to name a few, and the other witnesses that died to the Jews or the early persecution) have to be to KNOW that Jesus didn't rise from the dead, but still chose to die for that lie?
Almost ALL the early Church history is verifiable, some even by secular historians.
What idiots if it wasn't real. Yeah?

As for your dog comment, I have some choice words for you as well if you decide to continue your derogatory garbage.
Nothing derogatory about it. By definition of that word as used by Paul, you are.

Homosexuality occurs in nature ergo, it is not unnatural.

Unless it comes to matters of medicine, finance, or technology. Jus sayin' ^_^
Some choose to trust in the Lord in matters of medicine, not everyone when they get sick runs straight to the doctor, or when they don't have money freak out. Seems like you've failed at logic by presenting a faulty premise. I know Christians both deathly sick and struggling financially, respectively, and trusting in the Lord to solve the matter, and I've seen the Lord do both without medical attention or over burdening themselves to make ends meet.
But of course, that's foolish, right?
You make a blind assumption that all are the same, and when they're not, it's foolishness. Which is what Paul says,
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Ever notice that couples over 40 have a higher rate of producing children with down syndrome? Ever notice that lesbian sex is safer than homosexual or hetro sex? Ever notice that homosexuality is evident in nature?
Honestly, you've failed at logic.
Ever notice how homosexuality has widely spread STDs? Ever notice how homosexuals have higher rates of STDs than heterosexuals?

From the CDC:
"Gay and bisexual men — referred to in CDC surveillance systems as men who have sex with men (MSM)"

MSM account for nearly half of the more than one million people living with HIV in the U.S. (48%, or an estimated 532,000 total persons).

MSM account for more than half of all new HIV infections in the U.S. each year (53%, or an estimated 28,700 infections).

While CDC estimates that MSM account for just 4 percent of the U.S. male population aged 13 and older, the rate of new HIV diagnoses among MSM in the U.S. is more than 44 times that of other men (range: 522–989 per 100,000 MSM vs. 12 per 100,000 other men).

MSM is the only risk group in the U.S. in which new HIV infections are increasing. While new infections have declined among both heterosexuals and injection drug users, the annual number of new HIV infections among MSM has been steadily increasing since the early 1990s."

And that's just HIV
Seems like you make logic sound like whatever you want it to be, the case here isn't lesbians, it's homosexuals as a whole.

Here you go
URL

Now its your turn.
To be honest, I don't feel like reading 10 pages of something I really don't care about, but from what I read, "No simple, single cause for sexual orientation has been conclusively demonstrated, but research suggests that it is by a combination of genetic, hormonal, and environmental influences" because there is no simple answer. Genetics could have a HUGE impact on homosexuals while still not having anything to do with them being "born gay", and on top of that, the highest percentage of any study thus far has been 50%, with other things still factoring in.
It goes on to say that "Women showed a statistically non-significant trend to weaker influence of hereditary effects, while men showed no effect of shared environmental effects."

While researching on my phone while at an appointment yesterday, I noticed and then researched further. The majority of homosexuals claim that they "knew they were gay" at a young age, generally under 10 years old, generously. The answer most gave was between the ages of 6 and 7. Some comments include, "I'm a open gay male age 48. I knew I was different even at age six than my male friends", another "I am a 28 year old woman and I have known I was homosexual since I was about six years old.", et al.
Many have had sexual abuse from same or different sex parents or others, and 90% of strippers/prostitutes come from a past of sexual abuse at a young age. Do you not think that this may have something to do with it? How can you know you're gay at the age of six? Seriously? Give me a break, please.

Blindish post: but I can't understand why anyone would be so concerned about the sex life of two (or more) consenting adults that they would feel the need to continue bashing it, and getting personal with fluffy heart insults to those who are indifferent.

Is it because they're not getting any? I'm sorry, but I cannot understand why anyone would spend hours arguing or looking up appropriate Bible verses to 'prove' someone's sex life is not just according to their moral code.

When you step into a world you're not familiar with, of course you're not going to understand the rules, however, you do KNOW fully. You may not understand, because of the verse Paul says above.
As a follower of Jesus, our (Yours, mine and the worlds) Lord and only Savior, He has told us things we can not do and follow Him, and they are all for our good. Jesus Christ is not an enemy of happiness, but He is an enemy of things that are sin, which leads to destruction of our bodies.
I personally am not interested in anyones sex life, but as a follower of Christ, I am concerned and hope and pray that everyone will live a life pleasing to the Lord, which is one that will bring most joy to everyone.

And my past sinful life is not for discussion, but I assure you, what you suggested not be the case. The reason is this, the Lord hath said it was wrong, and it is not appropriate for CHRISTAINS (which is the main audience of this forum and suppose to have been for this thread.) And I don't spend hours looking up verses, one should know them already. :)
(with love)

I have that version. However I do not know other translated words that supposedly tell us what other words in the Bible mean... like that one word you used before but i dont remember what it is now though.

Different versions translate the same word differently, the NKJV is the most easy to understand, but more importantly, most accurate and complete Bible there is. If you want to discuss this matter, please PM me, this is not the place for that. But trust me on that or allow me to show you.

Does the Bible specificly state that homosexual offender means that?
And how do you know that homosexuality is referred to as sexual immorality?

I don't know what verse you're referring to or what translations you have. I'll assume you mean 1 Corinthians 6:9, the NKJV says "homosexuals" the KJV says "effeminate", the Greek word is μαλακός literally means
"metaph. in a bad sense
a) effeminate
1) of a catamite
2) of a boy kept for homosexual relations with a man
3) of a male who submits his body to unnatural lewdness
4) of a male prostitute"

Also, when the Bible mentions "FORNICATION", the Greek word is "πορνεία" which is "inappropriate contenteia" (where we get the word "inappropriate content" from) and is a junk box word, which means all things outside of heterosexual sex between consenting adults,
"1) illicit sexual intercourse
a) adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, intercourse with animals etc.
b) sexual intercourse with close relatives; Lev. 18
c) sexual intercourse with a divorced man or woman; Mk. 10:11,12
2) metaph. the worship of idols
a) of the defilement of idolatry, as incurred by eating the sacrifices offered to idols"
The Bible beats homosexuality to death.

It's not only in the Old Testament, but plainly in the New. Do you have a problem with Romans 1? You've failed to acknowledge after I've quoted it several times, clearly describing the act.
Verse 24: "Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due."
v32 "who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them."

Not only did Jesus endorse the Mosaic law "It is written.." (during the temptation of Jesus by Satan,) "Good teacher, what must I do to be good? So Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God." "You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery,' 'Do not murder,' 'Do not steal,' 'Do not bear false witness,' 'Honor your father and your mother.'!", et al. (It would have been pointless and a waste of time for Jesus to reiterate every single law that must have been followed, because, well, that's what the Old Testament was for, aka the Hebrew Bible.)
The Holy Apostles, Jesus promised, would be
John 16:13
"However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."
John 14:26
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."

We also know because of Paul, "All scripture is God breathed and useful for correcting, rebuking and training in righteousness", therefore, Paul and Peter and the Apostle's words were as good as Jesus', because the same Spirit was guiding them all, the one that guided the Christ. To say that theirs is not valid is to say that God is a liar when He said the Spirit would come and remind them of all things.

apology accepted :D
I am by no means too proud to apologize when I am wrong, thank you.

I haven't really seen a verse that I know is truth even posted yet. The Bible does clearly state that Homosexuality in fact is a Sin. It also can be cured too and that is through repentense and prayer.

Our Father God tell us in Romans 6:23 For the the wages of Sin is death, but the free Gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Do u even think how one can actually Get this eternal life. Shucks its simple believe in Jesus for who he is and not what a scientist or whomever wants to say he is.

I want to share with u what happened to me a Sunday ago. I haven't posted this to anyone but it needs to be shared.

This was the First time I've been to Church in Three years. Sure I've gone maybe a few time but not very much at all. Not enough to actually expierence God like I should've.

Me and My grandma walked into Church and then minute we walked in we just Felt this awesome feeling. I felt a spark inside my ignite and I was just immeaditly filled with Joy.

My and My Grandma were singing to God and I could see it in her face that she was really feeling the presence of God moving but I couldn't at all. I began to get scared knowing that it was there but why couldn't I get into it. Well simply put is I was in this shell a comfortable zone that I didn't want to break free. I new that if I broke out I would be conflicted with my life decisions badly. Well the Youth pastor came up and started talking. He said u know we got people in here seeking God and strong with hime but some aren't at all.

Well a bunch of people went up and prayed at the alter but once again I stayed in my comfort zone. Pastor himself came up this time and said "God has been speaking to me and I tell u right now my sermon isn't ment today but today is a day we need to seek God."

He asked the congregation "Is God in Your Life. I said to myself "no." He asked "are u seeking him everday." I said to myself "no." He also asked "Is his word truth to u." I said "No."

By that time I was in fear I was scared I was crying because I knew what I was wanting I wanted him badly. I felt it I was scared. He then said "If u said now to any of those questions please come up and seek him and pray to him"

I looked to my Grandma and said "Grandma I'm scared." She said "Go." When she said God I didn't just walk up there I ran. I seen his face waiting crying to me and I ran to it. I ran I mean I ran to it. I just fell to my knees praying to him and man I never prayed as much as I did.

Pastor Kept worshiping God and Finaly said "If anyone at the alter is wanting to accept Jesus as their one and only Savior please stand up and raise ur hand." I immeaditly Sprung up.

My pastor had my quote the Salavation Prayer with him. I was so just overwhelemed that I couldn't say the whole prayer. I just fell to to my knees saying God forgive me I'm worthless without u just a dead dead sinner and now I have u and it was just an all powerfull feeling.

For the last week I've done a major turn around. I'm thirsty for God more and more everyday. Yeah I just can't keep away. The bible is always open and I'm always reading my bible.

So if you want to say God is not real I'm gonna laugh because he is real and I felt the realness that he actually is.
