Yeah they have a different accent but I think it's pretty hard to differentiate without hearing them both together.

I can usually tell when someone is Canadian by the way they talk. There is a certain style to the way they say some words. Ask a Canadian though and they will say that they sound exactly the same as people from the US.

Definitely not true!

We know we sound different just like anyone in other country has their own way of speaking, accent, dialect or otherwise. And Canada has many different kinds of accents as does the US, depending where you're from.

Awesome! But as soon as she put on the accent from 'Toronto' (aka: Centre of the World, or what most people know as Canada) I cringed. I'm from the west coast and we sound like those from Seattle, nothing at all like Canadians on the East coast.

You're the first Canadian to tell me that.

All the others I've talked to and commented on their accent, denied having one.

The English accents on that clip are sooo posh The third is a pretty good take-off of the way people used to speak in films years ago. The Cockney one was OK too! Scots and Irish ones were also good! Maybe sliiiightly off but only if you were looking for it

Ah that's kinda true now that I think about it - a lot of people think they have no accent. I tell them they need to pack their bags, get a plane ticket and get educated!
