This is not anywhere near that situation. That is an actual situation worth freaking out over. Laughing at a cat that is mad over something like getting a shot is more like laughing when a kid totally freaks out over something little, like his ice cream on his ice cream cone falling off. To the kid, it is a terrible, horrible thing that just happened, but to adults, it is funny because we have a totally different perspective of what's going on.
I understand your point Melissa, first of all I want to get this straight, I'm not arguing/fighting with somebody because of this topic.
You need to realize that if a cat it's becoming so defending, it's because she feels she's threaten... Now, even though she ain't truly threaten, she doesn't know this thing... Just think about what mental pressure it's put on that cat, because she's psihical pressured for something that may happen to her physical, right? So, even though nothing happens to the cat in the end... she'll still remain with this trauma... Now, you won't see such a big influence animals behaviour after traumas because they cannot express them-self properly...
I still don't think that a icecream falling of a boy's icecream cone should be part of a horror movie
.
Or it is like laughing at a dog who is not happy about getting a bath. Are people evil if they laugh when their dog hides behind the sofa or something when he hears the word, "bath"?
You have to make the difference between "not happy" and "terrified".
If a dog is not happy about going to bath, more exactly the dog is used to bathing but it's not quite in the mood to do this now, it's ok... I mean, I'm not happy about helping my mother in the kitchen either, but I just do it.
If a dog is terrified about taking a bath, more exactly the dog has never bathed before, he's probably like 4 years old without ever doing this... therefore he's terrified about bathing because is something new to him, he fears, and he feels threaten, because although nothing will happen to him in the end, he doesn't know this... he still gets the feeling of drowning. Therefore he fears for his life, and responds with an aggressive behaviour.
Do you think animals adopt an aggressive behaviour just to laugh at us and say "HAHA, look at his face, he's scared
,I love this stuff!!! GRRRR !!"?
