I use to live on the southern east coast and man...there's nothin like moving warm salt water. The only thing I saw in shallow water there were jelly fish. (owwww) Interesting though, I didn't know that about the other side. Oh...how I miss my boogie board days. I thought I was a "real" surfer. Funny

All depends on when and where you go. The point that sticks out of California's coastline is called Point Conception. North of that point, the Pacific Ocean gets the cold arctic downdraft from the north. Below that point, we get the upwelling draft from the tropics below. They converge at that point and roll back out to the west. During the summer, down in southern CA, we can see 70*F and little higher water temp. Easily warm enough to be in a bathing suit and swimming comfortably. Right now we're around 66-68*F and Ive been surfing in just my boardshorts since the end of June.

I grew up north of the point and I would agree with you.. it's freezing! But now that I live south of that point and get the warm waters in the summer.. I love it. In winter, yes.. its cold and we need our wetsuits. But summer is great times.

I went last week and the water was wonderful.

Went to St. Augustine (oldest city in the USA) with my mom, sister and niece for my 21st birthday. As a history lover, I am like a "kid in a candy store" when I visit St. Augustine.

I don't travel much so seing all these pictures of different places is like I'm on a mini-vaction.

It looks like you had fun I can only hope my 21st birthday will be something like this.

No.. although my normal home break is in the Santa Monica bay.. but on the south side. This picture is actually down in Bolsa Chica which is a little bit north a few miles from Huntington Beach.

@vicky and Penpal... Recording myself and posting it would be the most funniest thing ever!!!. I'll see if I can make everyone cringe and hold their ears in pain for a few seconds. working on that post of me and my guitar.

Just got my new truck today - 2002 Mazda B3000 Dual Sport





The guy who owned the truck was the only owner, bought it new in 2002. He kept excellent care of it. Absolutely no scratches or dents, interior is in perfect condition and the engine is also really clean. 120k miles.

I plan on putting a flowmaster exhaust on it, tint the windows, and maybe if I can somehow save up around $900, put a hard top bed cover on it like my S10 had, makes trucks looks so much better IMO

New skates came today, God bless Hockeymonkey.

Outside of those one's I put on FB I really don't have any that aren't from when I was a kid. Don't have anyone to take them really, and the last time someone brought a camera out to drop-in when they came back from the shower about 10 guys had taken pictures of their nuts on it. I love ya, but don't think I could endure deleting that many nut shots for CF pics.
