Entirely blind post: I think he should take the lead most of the time as far as "asking people out" goes or planning the dates. :) It's nice to let a man step up and take the lead and then watch him do it. Just did this...seems like that was the space he was looking for. We'll see... :D

The ends don't justify the means. If God's message was brought across through disobedience, I do not believe it honors Him. You can be changed by it, you can grow closer to Him through the word, but it doesn't justify the disobedience.

No, one can only be changed for the good or brought closer to God in spite of disobedience, not through it, by it, or because of it.

But anyway, I'm not going to discuss this. If you have an accusation against a great woman like my pastor, you can bring it to God, because I won't hear it. And see how far you get telling Him how bad His daughter is being by doing His work.

Going to throw in a curveball and suggest that if you invite him to hang out one on one without the rest of your friends, it doesn't necessarily mean anything more than friendship, especially if there's a common activity the two of you enjoy. A guy asked just me to hang out with him the other day and I went and it was completely platonic - despite my hopes otherwise! ;)

Well, in case anyone was interested in my story, I ended up asking him out to dinner today, and we're going tomorrow! :D I found out he is leaving the country in a couple weeks, and I don't know if he'll be back before I leave to go back to school. So I decided to push things along a little... It's not a date, but it's at least slightly promising hahaha
