One more de-rail: the people here commune w/ G-d directly. Please pray for the poster "Brinny." He's doing a real work in her heart, really only understood via an obscure OT sacrifice that depicts enduring affliction that nobody else even realizes causes you suffering. It's a very disconcerting thing to go through ...

Experience. Until you'e in the position for G-d to use it, it won't be real. Personally, if it hasn't already entered my mind first, I miss it when it happens. If it's in my mind already, the Holy ghost can bring it to my remembrance, and then (hopefully) I won't be too stiff-necked to yield.

Everybody studies 'better' solo, but at least online, I don't think inserting what you see interrupts anything. Sharing can be a challenge, but it challenges us to grow. Seeing what G-d does with someone else can open our eyes to what we're missing ourselves ... like this next post for instance:

I agree we familiarize ourselves with his words and how he uses them and then often examining something else it will hit you and He will bring to it to your rememberance and equip you to use it aright.

Though online is harder I also agree there, its nice when we can freely share, like "hey look this is kool, these things appear to connect" (in the utter excitement that our great God is teaching us something here). It might not be perfect yet but He has our attention and so we freely share what we might be catching and lay it out according to how we might be handling it after a specific patern.

Online is tougher because I dont want to wrestle with a picture (especially when its newly developing) and theres alot of folks wanting to wrestle with you on it, who love to control the conversation, demand of you, make you answer to them etc. Im sure you know what I am talking about, that takes much joy out of sharing and theres certain things I would never post knowing better. You get a sense (over time) of what not to share and what you might be able to get away with, sorta like the pearl principal (being more careful with those) lol.

I do love Wheelers posts though, they are so unlike many out there, He minds his own, he doesnt wrangle with you, he doesnt exalt himself over anyone, but posts what comes to him freely, showing you beautifully how he is connecting these things through Gods words and his sharing is a good example of what I seek online, rare and sweet. Sometimes you cant put your finger on it but you just love someones way. So although sharing can be challenging it often depends on "with whom", as of lately I have been gravitating a little bit more down here (when ofcourse he is here)

My """escape from it all"" is here, like still waters, no wrangling.

Upstairs theres more speaking as men (in their divisions) ^_^ sometimes its so refreshing to come here and read, take note and perhaps post where you might see something addditional to what is already posted. Though I am queen of changing the topic and flying from one thing to the next (Im trying to work on controlling that)

(Oh and P.S regarding your other post you have already spoken to me of Brinny and I have not stopped praying for her since that time, shes a sweetheart) and I wont forget her Raze, no need to worry about that brother.

God bless

Most definitely Paul has warned us about this time….the “day of adversity” that began shortly after his departure. We were to “take heed to ourselves and to ALL the flock.”

(Acts 20:28 KJV) Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Paul knew this….and warned us about….the coming of “grievous wolves” that would not spare the flock.

29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

He warned for a “space of three years”…..warning every one night and day with tears. The “night” was coming in which the spiritual poor and needy would be afflicted in the “day of adversity” with grievous laboring “under the sun” of false prophets who do not feed the church but only themselves. There are “tears”….but the Lord will come to wipe all tears away.

31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

But God is able to build us up….to renew us in His Spirit. He is able to regenerate us in His Truth. He comes to open up the Scriptures so that we may know Him in Truth and Spirit. He comes to open up the Scriptures so that we may see the “man of sin” for who he is. We may then escape from the ministers of error…from the “grievous wolves” and their bondage.

32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

And what is the “grievous wolves” after? RICHES. They covet after GAIN…supposing that it is godliness. It is “unjust gain” because it belongs to the poor and needy. It is taken by deception. They misuse the Word of God……preaching it for unjust gain. They look to God for their “meat”…..they look to the Word of God….to the outer letter of the Word. Their power source is in the fleshly understanding of the Bible.

33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

They use “sorcery”….they preach deceptively….which deceives the simple….the spiritually poor and needy. They are the “many” who corrupt the Word of God. “corrupt” = “to retail.” We all know there is a lot of “retailing” going on in the churches today. It has become a marketplace….a place of selling…making merchandise of the poor and needy.

(2 Cor 2:17 KJV) For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

They handle the Word of God deceitfully…..for dishonest gain. They deceive the poor in spirit with their “sorcery.”

(2 Cor 4:2 KJV) But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

We have been living in the “night season.” In the “night,” the “woman” Babylon has come out to deceive the simple with her trappings….with her riches….with her glittering, religious things.

(Prov 7:6 KJV) For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,
7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,
8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,
9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:

Babylon is that “woman” who is dressed as the “harlot” and has a “subtle heart.”…..she is the wisdom of man….that attracts many people into her church doors.

10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtle of heart.
11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:

She lies in wait at EVERY corner….she is everywhere to be found. She looks for her prey. It is “night” time….and she is out dressed to the nines looking for those she may devour…..to multiply the unfaithful among men. Relying on man’s religious wisdom is unfaithfulness to God….who we are to put our faith in.

12 Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)
13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,
14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.
15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.

It is “night”……

(Prov 7:18 KJV) Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.

The “Goodman” is not at home…..he is gone on a long journey. The Lord has gone into heaven…but will return. The Lord has been on the long journey…but His return is imminent.

19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:

The Lord will come on the “day appointed.” He has the “bag of money” with Him…..He has the TRUTH and will reward all on how they receive that Truth when He comes…..on the appointed day.

20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.

Man’s religious wisdom causes many to yield…..it causes many to stray off the straight and narrow way.

21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.
22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;
23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.
24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.
25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

“She” has cast down many wounded. There is strife, envy , contention within the churches that rely upon the religious wisdom of man…which is in error.

26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.

The churches hate each other in their strife and envy…..they are in “ruin” or destruction. Whoever hates his brother lies in “death.” And it is the false prophets who have the “power of death” to keep people in envy and strife.

27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

But the Lord comes in the “morning”….the “Goodman” shall return to His home with the “bag of money.” He offers EVERYONE the opportunity to overcome this “night”…..He shall give those that overcome the MORNING STAR….the “morning” is coming. The “day of prosperity” is arriving in which Truth rules….love rules….peace rules…unity rules….and we are to rule with Him.

(Rev 2:26 KJV) And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
28 And I will give him the morning star.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

The true wisdom of God arises while it is yet “night.” “Meat” is given to her household….to those who love God’s wisdom. The Lord will give us the early, bright morning star…..while it is yet dark. The sun of righteousness will arise.

(Prov 31:15 KJV) She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

The “day star” shall arise in our hearts…..as a LIGHT that shines in a DARK place. The “day” is dawning….after the spiritual “night” the church has experienced….after the “winter”….after the “day of adversity.”

(2 Pet 1:19 KJV) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Man’s wisdom ….his private interpretation of the Scriptures has brought the “day of adversity” upon us. But it is the Lord’s opening up of the Scriptures that brings the “day of prosperity” to all of us. The “Goodman” returns home in the “morning.”

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

When this “day” arrives, then those who continue to oppress the spiritually poor and needy with falsehood will bring upon themselves SWIFT destruction.

2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

When it is high noon in the dawning new day….when we receive the knowledge of the Truth from the Lord who descends from heaven like Moses descending from the mountain, then there will be no more sacrifice for sins…to those who WILLFULLY continue on in their falsehoods.

(Heb 10:26 KJV) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Amen Wheeler, I love that he is the Morning star who says I will give him the Morning star (thus revealing Himself to us). Him who is a rewarder of them who diligently seek him and yet our shield and our exceedingly great reward as he said to Abraham, to see "my day"

Yes Wheeler it sure does show day and night even as "a season"

Jerm 33:20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;

John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Then here...

Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Which is interesting Wheeler because a thousand years is as day and the darkness being past is equal to spiritually discerning the same here...

Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday **WHEN** it IS PAST, AND AS A WATCH IN **THE NIGHT**.

Note the same wording here (interchanging night for darkness which are equal)

1John 2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because THE DARKNESS IS PAST, and the true light NOW shineth.

It appears spiritually discerned as you pointed out loving ones brother, even as he that hateth his brother abideth in death so likewise death and darkness are used interchangeably and he that loveth not his brother abideth in darkness.

An abode, a state, or a condition one abideth in

Whereas in the city (ye are) there is no night "there" and here he speaks of being children of the day, whereas it says...

1Thes 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Also, Jesus Christ is the same "Yesterday, To day, and For ever"

Which is interesting because it can be seen like this...

"Yesterday (thousand years) To day,(thousand years) and For ever"

The first two

Ecc 6:6 Yea, though he live A THOUSAND YEARS **TWICE TOLD**, yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place?

Show "reigns" associated with all three (yesterday, to day, and for ever) but the above (first two) in that which pertains to death and life here

Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence DEATH REIGNED by one (Yesterday) much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness Shall REIGN IN LIFE(To day) by one, Jesus Christ.)

As Life is shown as a reign wherein we reign in life (by one Christ) in whats called To day (To day is where the dead hear the voice of the Son of God and live) as it says... To day IF you hear my voice"...and The life that NOW is which can be seen as a thousand years even as a reign shown equally pertaining to a thousand years.

Two appear shown as a thousand years (twice told) the one which is not is the reign pertaining to the "For ever"

The same principle appears to be shown here

Ecc 6:6 Yea, though he live A THOUSAND YEARS TWICE TOLD, yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place?

Psa 90:4 For A THOUSAND YEARS in thy sight are but AS YESTERDAY when it is past, and as a watch in the NIGHT.

Heb 3:13-15 But exhort one anotherdaily,while it is CALLED TO DAY;

Job 8:9 (For we are but of YESTERDAY, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow)

Even the law having a shadow of the good things to come (and the dead know nothing) and speaks to no work regarding the night as well.

John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

Eph 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

I find these things so facinating how he encompasses the whole thing in Himself speaking in various ways of these things.

Yup, she's quite gifted that way. It's good to see no "wrangling" going on; I've seen a lot of that in this forum not too long ago.

Here's something, seeing as you mentioned (Spiritual) Babylon:

Christianity started out as a body, a fellowship of believers.

When it went to Greece it got changed into a philosophy.

When it went to Rome it got changed into an institution.

In Europe, it became a culture.

In the US, it got turned into a business.

Q: when you have a body and turn that into a business, isn't that a prostitute?

Kinda puts a new spin on the whole "light of the world" thing, no? I find this helps maintain a clear focus of 'shining in the midst of darkness.'

I too loved the last post Kimmy
and see the ruler of the lights as the law of Moses and the Law of righteousness by faith though Jesus Christ and His eternal Spirit

here are two that state this Rom 9:32Wherefore? Because [they sought it] not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
copyChkboxOff.gif
Rom 10:4For Christ [is] the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
now we see the light being knowledge and understanding given by God though the law of Moses and also at this time ...Jesus Christ
I do belive the shadow of good things to come were the coming of Jesus Christ
Gen 1:14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Gen 1:16And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: [he made] the stars also.

two more places that state this Rom 10:5For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down [from above]:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Rom 13:10Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love [is] the fulfilling of the law.
And that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to [fulfil] the lusts [thereof].

seems the armour of Light is putting on Jesus Christ our covering

2Cr 4:6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

loved the connections too Sis in your last post as raze and Wheeler also stated

;)Exd 12:31And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, [and] get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.

here is somthing we were discussing earlier

Jos 10:12Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Jos 10:13And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. [Is] not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
what do you make of this ?
anyone ? Is there a spiritual meaning to this as well ?

And Wheeler I can be guilty of it upstairs, Im not innocent but I dont prefer it thats for sure.

Interesting Chicapee! I just woke up Im a bit groggy but yeah thats sure worth a look into isnt it?

And Raze, I guess its taking "My Fathers business" a bit too far. Though making merchandise of you is also spoken of throughout scripture which was an interesting study too. Then what is mentioned in regards to a prostitute takes her hire but speaks of one who does it for nothing somewhere whose was supposedly worse off. I forget where that is, Im not with it right now...Im so tired for some reason.

Hi Chickapee, I have often pondered the “sun” and moon standing still in Joshua. Not entirely sure of its meaning but I do know that this is a spiritual prophecy for the near future for the church. If we look at this closely, it is the “Amorites” that are the subject. “Amorite” means “prominence” and comes from the Hebrew word that means “to boast.” This is a prophecy against those who will exalt themselves in their religious pride/understanding against the unveiling knowledge of God in this last day. Goliath always comes to my mind when I think of the future pride of fleshly-minded men that will stand up and scorn. But anyway, I think what is being said here is that those who will exalt themselves will be abased, and those who will humble themselves will be exalted…..MAYBE. “Joshua” is obviously a veiled reference to Jesus….well, maybe not so veiled since the name Jesus is “Joshua” in Hebrew. He “says in the sight of Israel”…..meaning the KNOWLEDGE of Israel…..for the “sun” to “stand thou still.” The Hebrew word for “stand still” is “damam” which means “to be dumb, silent, cease, cut down.” When the “kings”of the churches hear the complete, unveiled Scripture of Truth…..they shall be SILENCED….they shall shut their mouths at the Truth for they will not be able to gainsay or resist it. They shall be humbled in silence against the Truth. Upon “Gibeon,” meaning “hill,” is showing their exalted position….they will refuse to humble themselves….but they will be silenced. Now the Moon shall STAND up in the “valley” of Ajalon. “Ajalon” means “deer, strength.” Those that humble themselves as His knowledge shall be exalted in strength. They shall open their mouths as witnesses of God against those who exalt themselves. They shall have His strength.

(Josh 10:12 KJV) Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

The “sun” is “silenced, cut down”….. “damam”….while the moon is “stayed” or “stands.” Now the “book of Jasher” is the book of the “upright, straight, prosperous.” Jasher means “upright.” I don’t think there is a literal book called “Jasher”….it just means the inheritance that the upright shall inherit who fear the Lord….as recorded in the Bible.

Note: in verse 13 there is TWO “suns” being spoken about here. The first sun shall be “silenced”…..but in the “book of the upright,” their “sun” shall not go down. The word for “whole” in “whole day” means “COMPLETE, PERFECT.” We are talking here about the “sun” of the upright in the PERFECT DAY….and there will be no Day like it…for it will be the Day of the Lord. The Hebrew word for “stood still in the midst of heaven ” is “amad”….which means “to stand, abide”….which is quite different then the sun that will be “silenced”,… the Hebrew word “damam.” There are two suns being spoken about here…one that will be silenced and one that will “stand” in the book of Jasher.

13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
14 And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel.

For our God is that “sun” and shield in the PERFECT Day of Truth to those who walk “uprightly”…..in the “book of Jasher”….in the “book of the upright.”

(Psa 84:11 KJV) For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

The “perfect Day” shall have the complete knowledge and Truth of God….the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun and the sun shall be sevenfold…as the light of seven days…..the PERFECT or COMPLETE spiritual Day of God.

(Isa 30:26 KJV) Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.

in the “book of the upright,” their “sun” shall go down no more…for the Lord shall be our “sun”….our everlasting Light. The days of our mourning shall be ended….those who have ruled over the flock of God with an iron, covetous fist shall be no more. Our God will wipe away our tears.

(Isa 60:20 KJV) Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

The Lord will punish those who exalt themselves. They shall shut their mouths at His knowledge.

(Isa 52:15 KJV) So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

They shall not open their mouths “in the gate”….in the opened gate of the revelation of the Truth.

(Prov 24:7 KJV) Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate.

The sun of righteousness shall arise and release the prisoners…and they shall tread down the wicked…who have exalted themselves.

(Mal 4:2 KJV) But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

For whoever exalts himself, shall be humbled/silence and those who humble themselves shall be exalted…..in the “gate” of the Truth.

(Luke 14:11 KJV) For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

The Son of man shall send forth His messengers….the messengers of His revealed Truth and gather out of His kingdom all those things that make people stumble and all those who will continue to do iniquity….because they will have refused the Truth when they hear it.

(Mat 13:41 KJV) The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Then the righteous shall shine forth as the “sun” in the kingdom of their Father….they shall have their “sun” shall STAND.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

(Isa 24:21 KJV) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

Church leaders should lead by example…be an example to His flock…and not be “lords” or kings over the heritage of God. This is what a king does….he takes things from the flock….he is not merciful to those underneath his care:

(1 Sam 8:11 KJV) And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots.
12 And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots.
13 And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers.
14 And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants.
15 And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants.
16 And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work.
17 He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants.
18 And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.

Great thoughts you all , thanks so much for the feedback on this !
Wheeler you know how much I love the ''hidden name meanings'' of Gods Words
to me it just seems to explain the details in a way that would never even be concidered!
I needed a refresh of my memory on these things hee hee ..

Thanks Raze will check the Jasher book out!

Kimmy thanks so much for your honesty it means alot to folks like me Sis , I too... just dont know :(

love how you looked into it though Wheeler , I am able to see a glimpse of things I never before thought of on the Sun and Moon standing still in the Day humm , and how it is for the Church of today ...

must be a prophetic sign of some sort , It is over my head though ... it makes me think of Hebrews 4 about ''the rest '' and how if Jesus would have given them rest , He would NOT have spoken of ''another Day'' 8For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

may not even be related whatso ever though ...

more on the Ammorites here , they seem to be a boastful and proud lot of people

What does it mean to go to “sleep?” It says in 1 Corinthians 11 that “many are weak and sickly among us and many SLEEP.” It simply means we are living in denominational envy and strife….in hatred for our brothers and sisters over who is correct with their biblical interpretations….who is acceptable to God…who is practicing the right commandment and following the correct doctrine…..and we JUDGE each other over them. One man thinks that he should observe a certain day over another and uses that to judge those, who are in the body of Christ, who do not follow his practice. One man thinks he should be full immersed in water for baptism and judges those who do not. One man thinks he should tithe and judges his brother who does not. These are all literal things based on the understanding of the outer letter of the Scripture. If one truly believes he should keep a certain day, then he should keep it between him and his God……not to form rigid doctrines of men and use them to judge others. This is not showing love for one another. This is not keeping the Lord’s supper. What is it that we are to do in remembrance of Him? ……LOVE ONE ANOTHER. There is NO other doctrine that we are to follow. When we come together as a church it is not for the better. One man is drunk in his covetousness and another is hungry. Our daily bread is to love one another. If we withhold our love from our brothers, then he is truly “hungry.”

(1 Cor 11:23 KJV) For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

What are we to do as we wait for Him? We are to love one another…that is what we are to do in remembrance of Him.

24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

His blood was shed for us….with His love for us….and we are to love one another...showing His death.

25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

For if we do this…to love one another, then we show His love and death for us…His love that He shows for us…until He comes.

26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

The Lord’s supper was held the same “NIGHT” when he was also betrayed. It was in “Gethsemane”….which means “oil press”…..which indicates the place where the Spirit is GRIEVED. When we do not love one another, our church becomes a place where many have gone to “sleep.” And what was the Lord’s instruction to His disciples in Gethsemane? To wait for Him….to sit here and WATCH ….to stay AWAKE and watch for Him. We also were to sit and WATCH for Him…..to stay awake means to love one another…to abide in Christ and wait for his return. It is the “night” of the church where many have gone “asleep.” We are to watch and pray not to enter into temptation.

(Mat 26:36 KJV) Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

We were to wait for Him and WATCH….not go to sleep…not to fall into temptation.

38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Yet many in the church have fallen asleep.

40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

The many that have fallen asleep have entered into temptation. The temptation was to turn the “stone” of the Scriptures into the “bread” of wickedness and the teachings of fleshly men are the wine of violence. They have made doctrines and commandments of men by leaning upon their own understanding of the Bible…..which divides the church….which promotes envy and strife. They have fallen into temptation to do religious works for the glory of the kingdoms of this world….for the vain glory of men….for making a name for themselves in this world…..for riches. They have put stumbling blocks in the brothers’ way…by which many have stumbled. They have grieved the Spirit by following after the things of the flesh. They have sown to the flesh and have reaped corruption…..pride, envy, strife, wickedness, divisions, ,wrath, judging each other, etc. The flesh is weak. We were to sow according to the Spirit…..and live by its fruits….LOVE, peace, joy, humbleness.

41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

Their “eyes were heavy”…..which is saying that our church leaders who are the “eyes” have gone to sleep with covetousness….seeking after the vain glory of this world. When the eyes are shut/evil, then the whole body is full of darkness.

43 And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.
44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
45 Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

We are to “rise”…to awaken from our sleep. We are to cast off the works of darkness.

46 Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

Many have taken the Scriptures just like Judas came with the multitude to take Jesus. They come with “swords and staves” from the leaders. They use their own understanding of the Scriptures to divide the church…..for violence and works of iniquity. They have used the Bible for a “sword.”

47 And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
48 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.

With their lips do they honor Him, but in their hearts they are far from Him. In vain do many worship Him teaching doctrines and the commandments of men.

49 And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.
50 And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.
51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.

We are to put away our works of darkness and love one another in His Truth….in His instruction. We are to put away the “sword.”

52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

We were to WATCH and pray:

(Mat 6:9 KJV) After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

We are to watch….to love one another….which is our “daily bread.” We are not to eat the “bread of wickedness.”

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

We are to forgive one another.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

By watching and staying “awake,” we would not enter into temptation.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Our Lord has forgiven the sins of those who have gone “asleep”….who have entered into temptation……who have become sickly and weak…who do not currently love each other because of their doctrinal differences and envy of each other. He was also tempted in ALL points as we are and he is without sin. Yet, many have sinned …they have fallen asleep…..but are forgiven by his sacrifice.

(Heb 4:15 KJV) For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

But a time comes in which the “night” passes away and the new day dawns. A time comes that we are to “awake” out of our sleep and cast away the works of darkness.

(Rom 13:11 KJV) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

The “night is far spent” and the Day is at hand…….and we are to awake and cast off the works of darkness that many in the church have been doing.

12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Let us walk honestly….not in “drunkenness”…..not in covetousness…not in strife and envying of each other.

13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

We are to put on the Lord Jesus Christ….who is the Truth…and no longer live after the flesh where the corruption of envy and strife is…where there is no peace among the brothers….where “death” is.

14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

Those who are “dead” in their trespasses and sins have been forgiven…..although they had entered through the wide gate of destruction. They are the “dead” in Christ. Those who currently love one another are “alive” in Him….they are the ones who have truly found life….life in Christ. The church who loves each other is not asleep as the others who do not. Like the disciples in Gethsemane, we are to “watch” and be sober. We are not to give into things that are motivated by covetousness.

(1 Th 5:6 KJV) Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

Those that “sleep” are asleep in the fleshly thinking and works….works of division, envy and strife. They grieve the Spirit. Not only do they not see the works of the Spirit in their lives but neither do they feel the Spirit’s presence any longer….they have gone “asleep.”

7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

But our Lord will save those who have gone asleep….if they WAKE up when they hear His Truth being revealed in the spiritual morning. HE will RENEW the Spirit within us.

10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Many “sleep not” until they have done mischief….they sleep not until they cause others to fall. When they go to sleep…they do not see the fruits of the Spirit in their lives…they do not feel its presence.

(Prov 4:16 KJV) For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.

They eat the “bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence”….instead of keeping the Lord’s supper in remembrance of Him. The Lord’s supper is to love one another….the simplicity of Christ….the doctrine of Christ…the new commandment of Christ.

17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.
18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

They do not understand why their churches are in such disarray….in disunion…in strife…they do not know at what they stumble. They do not keep the Lord's supper....to love one another. They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. But our Lord has forgiven us....but we need to awake from our sleep at the appointed morning of the Truth.

19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

There is no other doctrine other than to love one another. By doing this, we show we love God.

(1 Tim 1:3 KJV) As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

But our church fathers had given heed to “fables”….and they went off to form doctrines and commandments of men which does not edify ….build up….the church. It brings the “sword”…division, hatred, strife and envy. It brings spiritual famine and pestilence into the churches.

4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

The “end of the commandment” is LOVE out of a pure heart…..

5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

Many in the church have desired to be teachers of the “law”….preaching to people about what day they should worship, what commandments they should follow so they can be “saved,” teaching commandments and doctrines of men. They worship God in vain and in ignorance.

7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

If one feels they need to worship on a certain day, then one must follow the whole law…..one must practice loving one another. Following the “whole” law is living it fulfilled….loving one another.

8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

The law is not made for those who love one another…..which there is no law against. The law….or the spiritual INSTRUCTION…is for those who have turned aside from loving one another after man’s commandments and doctrines that do not promote love among the church.

9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

As it says, “thou shalt not kill:”

(Exo 20:13 KJV) Thou shalt not kill.

And whoever hates is brother is a “murderer.” For example, if one judges his brother over what day he worships, then he does not love his brother.

(1 John 3:15 KJV) Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

We should lay down our doctrines and commandments of men that divide us and receive each other in love….in deed and truth. Our doctrines are not the Truth…..they are “vain jangling.” Our doctrines pit brother against brother over misinterpretations of the Scriptures. Many have desired to be teachers of the law….preaching on what practice we should follow, what day we should worship, how much money we should give, etc, etc, etc, etc. But the bottom line is to love one another….there is NO OTHER DOCTRINE that man is to follow. Let your “yes be yes” and no be no….everything else brings evil into the church.

16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Our church denominations have inherited vain behaviors….commandments and doctrines of men….by the church fathers. The children have inherited the sins of the “fathers.” We follow after vanity.

(1 Pet 1:18 KJV) Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

But the Lord is merciful and gives us the Truth so that we may see our sins…our missing of the mark of the Truth. He shall save us from our vain traditions and ungodly men who perpetuate them.

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Then we can truly love one another….having our souls purified in the revealed Truth.

22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

I have been on a forum break but make your posts the exception to that rule Wheeler

I have been looking at the same thing too brother, I think I have further confirmation of the same shown in these things.

Heb 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which **he obtained** witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

1John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that **doeth** righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1John 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Acts 10:35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

In the context of both loving one another and working righteousness (as shown elsewhere as well) even God says to Cain, if thou DOEST WELL will you not BE ACCEPTED?

Worded much the same way in James...

James 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye DO WELL

Abel obtaining "witness" is also as "obtaining" a good report which is also obtained by faith (which works by love)

Gen 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

And yet there was a sword awaken against the Shepherd of the sheep (even from the beginning)

Zach 13:7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd,

Psalms 17:13 Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

Acts 2:23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

1John 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

1John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

James 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well

Same to Cain...

Gen 4:7If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Sounds alot like, "Satan hath desired to have thee" doesnt it there? Even as unto thee shall be his desire"

Wherefore they laboured after the same ( to be accepted)

2Cr 5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

Acts 10:35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Wherefore we labour,

Heb 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Phil 1:5 Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;

1Thes 1:3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

1Titus 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Sound words and sound doctrine

2Titus 1:13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Hey Wheeler, we were talking about this on another thread, but it speaks of the breastplate in the NT did you notice he mentions the same two things?

Theres the putting IN (the breastplate) these two

Exodus 28:30 And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim (light/revelation) and the Thummim (perfection).

As we are perfected in love (even as charity is the bond of perfectedness and here theres the putting ON (the breastplate) these two

1Thes 5:8... putting on the breastplate of faith and love

These two found abundantly in Jesus Christ (our righteousness) as the breastplate is also of righteousness and its also Him we put on (as well).

That’s awesome Fireinfolding….thank you for that! I’ll have to look closer at the breastplate of judgment….the breastplate of love and faith…it makes sense. Great connection!

Yes, never saw the connection about “doing well.” Thanks for showing me that.

(James 2:8 KJV) If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

(Gen 4:7 KJV) If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Indeed, the doctrine of Christ was taught by God even from the beginning. The “doctrine of Christ” is to love one another…..the “royal law.” Jesus said that the doctrine is not his own but of God who sent him. God taught the “royal law” from the beginning.

(John 7:16 KJV) Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

The Pharisees did not keep the “royal law” because they hated their brother, Jesus. They went about to kill him.

19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?
20 The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?

Abel was a “keeper of sheep”….the spiritual message is that we are to be our brother’s keepers….to love one another…be a keeper of sheep. Our daily sacrifice is to love one another…that is our daily debt that we owe to one another. By doing this, we show we love God…..if one does not love his brother, then how can we love God? Then our sacrifices are not acceptable. Cain was a “tiller of the ground”….and represents those who mind the earthly things…their works do not promote love among the brethren. Our “wonderful works” that we do in His name will not be accepted. The toiling for riches, power, big church buildings, big ministries are all in vain glory. The chasing after vain glory of men brings envy among the brothers….it brings contention…strife…hatred.

(Gen 4:2 KJV) And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

And the Lord taught Cain…counseled him to overcome…..if “thou doest well”….the doctrine of Christ…the royal law….is to love one another. Sin shall not rule over us when we listen to the Lord’s counsel. He rebukes and chastens those that He loves.

6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Sin shall not have “dominion” over us. If we live according to the Spirit….to love one another…then we are NOT under the Law. There is no law against loving one another.

(Rom 6:14 KJV) For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Many of us in the church have been “servants of sin”…..like Cain, many have minded earthly things in earthly wisdom. But the Lord counsels us…He teaches the “doctrine of Christ”….to love one another…which sets us free from sin so that we may become “servants of righteousness.”

17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

We are to hear the instruction of the Lord as taught Cain…..we are “to do well” and be accepted….be saved. We are to “overcome” the things that have kept us servants to uncleanness…..things that keep us bogged down in envy and strife….and not fulfilling the “royal law.”

19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

The “fruits of the ground” is to be burned in the fire….the end of those things is death.

21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

We are to repent from “dead works”…..earthly works that promote envy and strife among the brothers. We are to love one another….the doctrine/teaching of Christ. Loving one another is the foundation of every thing else. We can not advance…grow up…to on to perfection…. without it.

(Heb 6:1 KJV) Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

The doctrine of Christ must be followed…to love one another…before we can TRULY understand the rest. Religious man has not understood the rest if he is living in envy and strife.

2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3 And this will we do, if God permit.

The “new commandment” is the “doctrine of Christ” It is the Lord’s supper that we are to keep in remembrance of Him. He gave himself for us….and we are to lay down our lives for the brothers….to love one another. This is the true Lord’s supper. We are to discern the body of Christ….our brothers and sisters….and love each other.

(John 13:34 KJV) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

We are not to hate each other over our doctrinal differences….over our literal practices. WE are to accept one another in the Lord…to discern the body of Christ. Hating is “murder”…it is shedding blood. The life is in the blood….and we are not to devour one another in our envy and strife.

(Lev 17:10 KJV) And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

We are not to “bite and devour” one another in contention…in hatred….but we are to fulfill the law in one doctrine….to love on our neighbors as ourselves.

(Gal 5:14 KJV) For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

(2 John 1:5 KJV) And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

Beautiful my brother, amen

You know...I can almost now anticipate where you might go depending on the wording sometimes, I love that he does that! So kool! ^_^

There has rarely been a day I havent learned something more and that dont happen with any ordinary book thats for sure bro:thumbsup:

Was looking at this too

Gen 4:2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

Cain asks, "Am I my brothers keeper"?

James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

1John 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Gen 4:8 And Cain **talked** with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Which is interesting because words can lie in wait for blood

Prov 12:6 **The words** of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood

Gen 4:10... **The voice of** thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.

Mic 7:2 The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait **for blood**; they hunt every man his brother with **a net**.

Mat 22:15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might **entangle** him in his talk.

Luke 11:54 Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might **accuse** him.

His words are such a mirror

1Peter 3:16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that **falsely accuse** your good conversation in Christ.

Jerm 5:26 For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.

Psalm 37:14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and **to slay** such as be of upright conversation.

Psalm 64:3 Who whet their tongue like a sword,

Hey, this is pretty kool too Wheeler...

James 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

Speaking evil of ones brother is equated with speaking evil of the law ever notice that? (below, as both are as an apple)

Prov 7:2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.

Zech 2:8 .... for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

So keeping the law would be being my brothers keeper (fulfiling the royal law) even as speaking evil of ones brother is equated with speaking evil of the law itself. You can sorta catch that twofold there cant you?

He rocks, and His words are really life arent they?

Hey Wheeler, I was thinking of one you might get a kick out of, not sure if you seen it already but it blessed my socks off. Theres a scripture where it speaks of "IN the PLACE where the passover (Jesus Christ) is to be sacrificed is THE PLACE WHERE I will put my name **IN**

He was led to Galgotha (which by interpretation) is the place of **A SKULL**

They have his name **IN THEIR FOREHEADS**

As he said, "We have the MIND OF CHRIST"

Sorta like how to be carnally minded is DEATH (even as we were enemies in OUR MINDS) and He was led to a place interpreted as A SKULL (and sacrificed THERE) which is the exact same place he said he would put HIS NAME **IN** where the declaration is made, "WE HAVE the MIND OF CHRIST" or as even the Fathers name written in our foreheads and we pass from death (even as being carnally minded which IS death) as was that place to our Lord and unto life and peace which is equated with being spiritually minded

The similitude (in the OT), the manifestation (in Jesus Christ) and the spiritual truth (as it is relates to Christ in us) all bear witness to the same thing. Together they sorta bring a bit of light as to where the apsotles caught the truths they spake as it pertains to a mystery hid in the gospel.

I thought that was so kool!

That last one might not be too clear, its always best to post scripture (not that this has helped me alot around here because some folks think Im nuts) ^_^

To this I am refering.. "at this place" (look at the wording)

Duet 16:6 But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.

He (our passover) was crucified/sacrficed at a place called Galgotha ( by interpretation "the place of the skull") spiritually so as pertaining to Egypt (noted above and also below) being signified (spirtually called)

Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

1Cr 5:7 For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Again......at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name **IN**, ((( there))) thou shalt sacrifice the passover

Where'd they take Him?

Mark 15:22 And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.

Which is exactly where his name pertains to

Rev 22:4....and his name shall be **IN** their foreheads.

1Cr 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But **WE HAVE** the mind of Christ.

as it says..

Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

The carnal mind is emnity (which is "great hatred") toward God, Christ ( the passover lamb ) was to be sacrificed in the place he would choose to PLACE HIS NAME **IN** and crucified "in the place of" A SKULL

And its By Him WE PASS from one place (called "death") which is also that which pertains to being carnally minded) unto another place called "life" and "peace" (which is to be spiritually minded) given "the mind of Christ" (as The Fathers name pertains to "the forehead")

1John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Col 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled.

Im a terrible shower of things ^_^Ok... let me try again lol...

We were sometime alienated and enemies in our own our minds (our skulls, so to speak) right? And its the very same place where Christ (our passover) was crucified/ sacrificed and called by interpretation (for good reason) "the place of the skull"... Christ being the passover was to be sacrificed in the very place where God chose to put HIS NAME IN (spiritually speaking) and His name pertains to OUR FOREHEADS

Am I making any better sense of how I am reasoning with this?^_^

He was crucified in a place (also) "spiritually called Sodom" (as well as Egypt)

Where incidentally two angels appear to Lot and also where two angels appear at where Jesus body is laid... notice that as well?

The mind again...

2Cr 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

Which sorta reminds me of this for some reason...

Gen 19:11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

Christ is the door (and they wearied themselves to find the door)

2Titus 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Even as Christ is the truth

Wonder if theres something in these two?

Luke 13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are

John 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Dont know but his words are so very fascinating how he hides a thing right before your eyes, He never ceases to amaze me
