Tonight...has been the night...I have cried the most....in awhile

I wish I could blame it all on the alcohol I've had...but I can't. It took me to read the email from my father to break me, and now I just can't stop.

Awwww Im... : offers a gentle hug:

I'm such a weirdo LOL, I only cry when I'm extremely angry at someone... Which doesn't happen often.

That's actually very common with girls :) I think it's because we're not brought up to just "let it out" like boys are - boys can yell and scream and puff up their chests at each other when they're mad. So we hold it in as long as we can, and it has to come out somehow, so it comes out our eyes, lol.

Seriously though, I know that when I feel furious at someone or something, it's just such an awful way to feel, the awfulness is what makes me cry.

emotional. I'm kinda used to physical pain, at least as used to it as someone can get since I have fibromyalgia, so it would take *a lot* of physical pain to make me cry.

surprisingly though, this has been one of the toughest years of my life emotionally and I've cried very little this year. I think God has just been really great at giving me His strength.

I usually only cry once at month at most, and that's due to hormones.

I can also be caused to cry by being really mad or having a panic attack, but both of those things are rare occurances. I don't get mad often and while I used to have a lot of panic attacks, I don't anymore.

Recently, I cried a lot more often due to grieving but I'm getting better now.

The results are in: Vicky cried today at church because they were playing some new, amazing song. Plus I was sitting behind Vaughn's parents, and that made me think about Vaughn, and that pretty much always makes me wanna bawl like a baby.

Every time I hear the third movement to Randall Thompson's "The Testament of Freedom," (III. We Fight Not For Glory), I shed tears as the men's chorus is shouting "we have taken up arms." (3:31 in the file and everything following it.)

And I just listened to it. And lo and behold, tears. Never fails. I don't know what it is about this piece, but it's emotionally powerful. Maybe I just love America too much. :D

No, you don't, Neal. I'm the same way. I could cry at every single parade I go to. I cried when watching the military salute on TV on July 4th. How anyone can NOT cry when remembering all the brave men who willingly gave their lives for MY freedom and YOUR freedom...it's such a beautiful thing. :sniff:

I occasionally cry when something strikes an emotional chord. For example, it's hard for me to watch the end of Field of Dreams without getting a little choked up. I also shed a tear or two when I'm grieving.

Physical pain may make me wince a little, depending on the severity, but it's not something that I cry about.

It really depends on the season of my life. Right now, my nerves have been so on edge lately that I could cry at the tiniest thing. At other points, I can go for months without crying. Usually a good song makes me cry a little. I avoid sad movies or I'd probably cry more often haha.

I could've cried half a dozen times today while watching "Eclipse" :sorry: I feel everything that's going on onscreen. I was like "arghhhh, the pain!!"...then I thought somebody might be watching me, so I held it together.

My mom and I are going to start watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy tonight (I've seen it a million times, of course), and I bawl when Frodo gets bitten by Shelob and Sam thinks he's dead, and says "Don't go where I can't follow", and when Frodo collapses on Mount Doom and Sam says "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!" and he picks him up and carries him... And, and, and...when Aragorn is about to lead the attack on the Black Gate, and everyone knows it's futile, they're all going to die, just hoping to give Frodo time to get the Ring to Mount Doom, and they all go willingly, even more than willingly, with rage and vengeance and love for their friends...

Yeah, I've got just a slightly dramatic side to me.

There have been times when I cried because of physical pain. Usually 'tis only when it's severe...like chopping the tip of your finger off (happened a few months ago). While I was bawling my eyes out because of the pain, I actually started cracking jokes and laughing.

But yeah...mostly I just cry because of emotional pain. Last time I cried was about a week ago...I was in a full blown meltdown.... :sigh:

I'm a cry baby. I cry when a beloved character dies in a book/movie/show. I cry when a song about deep pain (like "Whisky Lullaby") plays. Sometimes I cry when people tell a really sad true story. I have cried when my heart was broken. I have cried thinking about the pain that a family member has gone through in the past or now. I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the idea that whatever guy ends up with me, cannot be one that freaks out over tears. :D

The first time I saw the video for that song, I cried so hard I felt sick. :D

I used to never cry. I didn't even cry at my dad's funeral. After I came back to the Lord He softened my heart and I cry a lot more often and I'm not afraid to cry anymore :) It's usually when I meditate on the Lord and His love that I cry the most.
