Now I can go on and on and on and on and on, but the point is this, when you take a topic like love and try to force it to fit into one or two passages, your missing way way too much of what the Bible tells us love is, which is why it is necessary for you to study it. I get that you were probably hurt very badly in your life and for that reason you are picking and choosing what you deem the less difficult to believe about God, or the most beneficial to your anger level, but the bottom line is that love is so much more broad than your giving here that there can be no comparison...Biblical love is beyond your imagination and the only way for you to begin to comprehend that, is to put down your anger, let go of your assumptions and study it for yourself.

How did Jesus Love?

How?
In humility, putting others above self...you really should do the study since you are afraid to do a mini study with me...I Cor. 13 when studied, offers a fascinating look with great detail that other passages don't offer us.

Jesus said
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Jesus said

Jn 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

this is HOW?

this is the bible definition of Love!
wow, really? All those passages and all you want to do is throw them out so you can stick to your pet passages...I feel sorry for you when it is all said and done. Have a great weekend, and when you are ready to deal with all the scripture, not just your pet one's let me know, it will be an exciting encounter to say the least.

do Jesus really love all people? according to this chapter his unconditional love is far from the wicked

Ps 101v1 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.
2: I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

3: I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

4: A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.

5: Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

6: Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

7: He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

8: I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.

Jesus said he has a perfect hatred for those who are wicked!

Ps 139

19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.

20: For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.

21: Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

who si the wicked that the Lord has a perfect hatred for?

look what it says above about those who take Jesus name in vain

we can read that in the 10 commandments

Prov 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

How do you love the Lord?

what are the conditions he requires for us to love him?

John said love in deeds and not in words only

1Jn 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

what deeds do we have to so?

how do you put others above yourself using God words of course?

1: Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2: And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3: And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4: Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5: Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6: Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7: Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8: Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9: For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10: But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11: When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12: For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13: And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Charity is Love

Love is the keeping of the commandments

how do we do charitiy/love?

lets read from the Law

Ex 20
12: Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13: Thou shalt not kill.
14: Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15: Thou shalt not steal.
16: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

lets read from the testimony

Rom 13:8: Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
9: For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10: Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

for charity is the fulfilling of the law

Ecclesiastes 9:8-10 (in Context) Ecclesiastes 9 (Whole Chapter)
Now I can go on and on and on and on and on, but the point is this, when you take a topic like love and try to force it to fit into one or two passages, your missing way way too much of what the Bible tells us love is, which is why it is necessary for you to study it. I get that you were probably hurt very badly in your life and for that reason you are picking and choosing what you deem the less difficult to believe about God, or the most beneficial to your anger level, but the bottom line is that love is so much more broad than your giving here that there can be no comparison...Biblical love is beyond your imagination and the only way for you to begin to comprehend that, is to put down your anger, let go of your assumptions and study it for yourself.

look what the Lord told Solomon to write

Eccl 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

the whole duty of man is to fear God and keep his commandments
when man keep God's commandments it is testified by the Lord Himself that we love him

Jn 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

when we do our duty to God which is keeping his commandments we fulfill the love he has for us

1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Just to verify, Can I absolutly hate God and everything about Him, but if I follow the 10 commandments am I saved?

Just to verify, when it states "my commandments" does that mean all the laws that were written afterwards?

Listen to the conditions

Prov 8v32: Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

33: Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
please listen to this passage and apply it to your life...you need to learn to listen when people explain to you time and time again that there is a difference between man's love or God and God's love for man...if you would hear instruction, you might find some wisdom in this area rather than to refuse the wisdom He is offering to you. Which btw, is a question I asked you and you haven't answered yet. According to scripture what is wisdom and where does it come from?
34: Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
35: For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.
36: But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
amen...now how about posting something on topic....what is God's love for man....
