Honestly.......eating the poor octopus who probably wanted nothing more than to just be left alone and these people ate him all because they thought he has some kind of 'magical' powers to predict future events of a sporting game. Red card for them.

Reminds me of that religious revival in Germany where villagers followed a supposedly divinely inspired goose on a crusade, until someone ate it.
