H. sapiens has lived from about 250,000 years ago to the present.
Infinite epic fail!!!

First you said 200,000 and now you say 250,000. Do you just make up numbers as you go? Because it's obvious you have no scientific evidence.

So were you (a) wrong when you said 200,000, (b) wrong when you said 250,000, or (c) wrong with both grossly inaccurate guesses?

I say C: you are wrong with both grossly inaccurate guesses.

From your own source which you obviously didn't read: Human - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

genetic studies now suggest a divergence of the Neanderthal species from Homo sapiens about 500,000 years ago.
FYI 500,000 > 250,000.

I don't think that article means what you think it does, it only means that the homo antecessor started branched off from the then proto-neanderthals and started evolving along their own path as opposed to being on the same evolutionary path as the proto-neanderthals. Around 200.000 to 250.000 years ago anatomically modern humans appeared(ie homo sapiens sapiens), and then 50.000 to 75.000 years ago those homo sapiens sapiens adopted modern human behaviour, eventually leading to us.

At least that's how I understand our evolutionary history taking that article into account, but given that I'm not an evolutionary biologist or an archaelogists I can't really be an authority on the matter. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homo_antecessor

Modern humans are not Homo antecessor, they are in fact so-called Homo sapiens.

You have absolutely no evidence of that.

What caused Homo sapiens sapiens to magically and miraculously appear out of nowhere 200,000 years ago?

What caused Homo sapiens sapiens to be retarded for 150,000 years and then magically and miraculously adopt so-called "modern behavior" (whatever that means) for no reason 50,000 years ago?

No, anatomically modern humans are called homo sapiens sapiens and are a subspecies of homo sapiens. Now 500.000 years ago, there were archaic homo sapiens, meaning homo antecessor. Over the course of 250.000 to 300.000 years those archaic homo sapiens evolved into anatomically modern human beings, or homo sapiens sapiens, or more accurately a population of homo sapiens branched off and followed their own evolutionary path becoming homo sapiens sapiens.

Adaptation to pressures from the environment, or evolution caused homo sapiens sapiens to emerge.

The current theory on what caused modern human behaviour to emerge is sociocultural and sociobiological evolution over a long period of time.

The Sanskrit scriptures prove that people have lived in the Himalayas for 4 yugas i.e billions of years not thousands of years.
And "The Story of Goldilocks" proves that bears live in houses, sit in chairs, eat porridge, and sleep in beds.

That's funny because the peer-reviewed research paper in the journal Nature specifically says modern humans existed 500,000 years ago.

Green, R.E., et al., Analysis of One Million Base Pairs of Neanderthal DNA, Nature, Volume 444, Pages 330-336, Nov 2006

Comparison with the human and chimpanzee genomes reveals that modern human and Neanderthal DNA sequences diverged on average about 500,000 years ago.

Is that a serious question?
Yes and obviously you don't have a serious answer...

That's ok though because I wasn't expecting you to have one.

No it doesn't.

You are aware the Neanderthals are not direct ancestors of Homo sapiens sapiens, right? The article is stating that Neanderthals started that split from the direct ancestor of Homo sapiens sapiens about 500,000 years ago.

Nice try, though.

Exactly what part of "modern human" don't you understand?

If you have the gall to argue against evolution without even understanding what it is you are arguing against how can you expect not to be dismissed as a cretin?

I understand it just fine. But my reading comprehension is not the one causing the issues.
So you don't understand the modern part or you don't understand the human part or both?
