No, if you nag them they will tell you that they aren't having any kids. At least that's what we did with our parents.
Nope, I don't nag. I know better as my daughter is just stubborn enough not to have any just cause I was nagging! :D

I have extremely nagging in-laws and my parents did nag a little. Even though it was a total lie and lieing is wrong, I felt so at peace when we told them we just weren't having any kids, and they believed us and backed off.

We asked them to please keep our welcome home at the airport low-key, and instead we were bombarded with flashing cameras and bags and bags of presents for the kids. I really appreciate that they are excited for us and and at being grandparents again, but after 27 hours of flying and layovers with 2 mildly freaked out kids who don't speak the same language as us, it was a bit much for our nerves. I don't know if you saw the pictures on facebook yet (my sister had them posted before we even got home) but while the kids were actually hamming it up (they actually slept during much of it), DH and I look like we are about to fall on our feet.

Hey'o.

Haven't been about in a while, I know. A lot of distractions came up, and things have been stressful. I'm currently working at a job where I barely make enough to keep the collectors from calling, and at this rate it is just a matter of time.

There is hope, however. I have an interview this afternoon: a job that would get my salary back into the realm of what I'm supposed to be making, and one which would be back in the field that I've been developing for the last several years.

I really want to believe this is God's plan for me; I'm not supposed to think like that, but I have to have hope. Without His help I'm just one of many, and there'll always be someone better. With Him I will be the right person in the right place, and everyone will be better off for it.

Prayers would be appreciated.

---------------------------------------

Hey - I got a second interview! This might actually happen!

You got it man! :)

I haven't been around much either. Just graduated college and now I'm a busy bee when it comes to work. Part-time with minimum wage, but it's still something for now.

I'm worn out. I helped with Bible School this past week- 5 year olds. I worked with second grade 8-2, 6:30- 9 at FBS. (Friday field trip was 8-5)
At FBS, we got to talk with International Workers from Afghanistan.
Today, we hosted a missionary family back in the States from Brazil. The couple is school teachers, their four children.

The four kittens are six weeks old today. They're fun to watch. I can't wait for them to get a new home. Phoebe wants the house back to himself. (Phoebe being my male cat, not the baby daddy)

Just curious but is FBS your church's version of vacation Bible School? Just curious what the F stands for. :)

In some ways things are better, and in some ways they are worse.

I am waiting for a second interview ... I *still* don't have health insurance ... and I'm running out of hypertension med's.
I understand the health ins woes. My hubby and I are on COBRA. It costs us $830. per month.

Also, I take 6 different meds. One of them has a $196 co-pay per month. I spoke with my doctor, and he is giving me samples for now. Please see your doctor and ask if there are some other options like that for you.

Take care.

So I'm happy to announce that I said goodbye and good riddance to the longest running friendship I had. You want to know what freedom is? This is it.

I'm not sure that's something to be happy about, even if that friendship was causing undue stress or something...

I know I'm never happy to lose someone I considered a friend.

Some manufacturers have programs for people who don't have insurance. You or your doctor has to contact the manufacturer directly.

Glad to hear she is doing so well, filo.

Actually She is not doing any better than prior to this. However, without health insurance for her, we live on the edge. In order to get any kind of coverage right now with exceptions (which would be the big ticket items), it would cost $1000-1500 per month just for her.

So far, she hasn't needed major health work.
