Unless his name is buddha? And yeah you repeating the mantra that creation has no evidence makes you blind.

Here you are given a grand opportunity to provide evidence and you squander it. how very creationist of you.
So im right, you are atheist?Might wanna take down the chubby statue then boss.
Buddhism is not really a theology so i can very easily be both
Heck i could be an agnostic atheist Buddhist and there would be no contradiction.

My goodness you have been on this forum how long, have seen many creationists come and go,some far more qualified than you are, probably thousands of posts on the subject, and still you cry no evidence! You simply arent taking the information in,hence me saying you are blind.Unless you want direct revelation.Sorry boss neither me nor you are that special.

its sad, no? But only because your post has no evidence like all the other creationist posts on this thread.
Creationists dont have any evidence. There posts are ether off topic, misleading, or factually wrong. I have seen it all. Creations even refuse to come up with a falsifiable hypothesis. And that pretty much says it all.

again another squandered chance to provide your own evidence.
You simply arent taking the information in, hence me saying your are blind.Unless you want direct revelation.
sorry you seem to be mistaking claims with evidence. you must not know the difference between a claim and evidence. and that's why creationists lost the court case. They didn't understand it any more then you do.

heck creationists cant win court cases even when they have every possible advantage, like in Dover when the judge was appointed by bush and hand picked by rick santorum.

So where does buddha fit in with this?excuse the pun.hes what?
he seems to be in good shape to me? are you anorexic?

OH right you didn't even realize that Budai and Siddhartha Gautama were different. Doh!

The gyst of it: The ICR moved from California to Texas. The ICR wanted to offer masters degrees in science. The Higher Education board in Texas said no. ICR sued. ICR lost.

The best part of the ruling:

I guess those tactics may work in creationist literature or debates, but not so much in legal docs.

This point was also amusing:

Um... duh?

Read more here, including link to full ruling

Maybe they would do better in, I think, Kansas ? :)

What i think is frighting about this article is this.
They applied to Texas' Higher Education Coordinating Board for certification to give master's degrees in science

It really seems like they are trying to destroy science from the inside out.

they keep trying to wedge themselves into schools one way or another, rather then doing the research and writing papers. Is this because they have nothing scientific to say? They would rather say whatever they like and when questioned point to a masters degree in science?

sick.

I think I'm right in saying that you only have these court cases in the US, what do they hope to achieve? all I can see is the destruction of US school science education, which would be terrible for the US but wonderful for the rest of the world.

Could creationism be guided by a foreign power with the intention of undermining the US? after all they don't seem to care what damage they do to the US do they? the more uneducated they get the more uneducated they get.

Who is in charge of homeland security in the US? and you thought drugs were a problem.

I admit sometimes I have to wonder along those lines myself.

As the great Aron-Ra once said, the US used to be admired for being a powerhouse of science and technology, always being at the forefront of the high-tech and the (scientific) avant garde. Sadly, teachers nowadays have to squander time fending off religious fundamentalism from their science classrooms.

It's a sad state of affairs, though rulings like these do give me hope for their future.

It's worse than that. They weren't trying to offer masters in science, but in science education.
Plaintiff the Institute for Creation Research Graduate School (“ICRGS”) seeks to offer a Master
of Science degree with a major in Science Education from “a Biblical scientific creationist viewpoint”
in Texas.
