Not exactly! It's various types of coffee blended with sugar and ice. The "coffee-based" ones are like iced coffees but all smushed together, a tiny bit like slushies but much much nicer. The "cream-based" ones are (in my humble opinion) just like very cold thick milkshakes. I get the caramel frappuccino about once a year. I think it cures my hayfever.

Ah, I see... well a latte isn't very exotic at all. I like it because it gives me both caffeine and calories for breakfast, and it's cheaper than a regular coffee and muffin And I like Costa's too! I think they made a deal with the NHS or something because we get a 10% discount, and they're everywhere.

I don't really go, but if i did it'd be chocolate!

No Starbucks, no Gloria Jeans, no Tom and Tom's, no decent coffee in Dili. *sigh* people keep telling me places that have the best coffee in town but I have yet to find a caramel ice blended coffee or equivelant. Though if you do make it here my favourite place is the Tropical Food Bakery. Its right near the UN barracks (trust them to have the only near-decent coffee in town).

Never been, it's purple seats make me feel inferior...

I am unworthy.

Pretty much the only thing I ever order at Starbucks is the White Chocolate Mocha

A mocha frap. It had been a long time since I last had one from there, so it tasted a bit "off" to me. Like powdery at first. Of course I finished it though.


I'm thinking next time will be some mint mocha chip mixture. Mmmm..

Yep they've changed the way they do the fraps now I personally dont like the way its done now esp in the chai but vanilla bean frap isnt too bad the new way!

Really?? Are they using powder instead of syrup? I believe I tried the Chai before, but enjoy it way too much as a hot beverage. Also, in the traditional variety. But, that would be disappointing if they switched to powders more. :/

No they use what milk you want and then I think they have some liquid syrup stuff they put in plus the flavoring you want in it . I'm not positive though I just know the base of it has changed

Oh hmmm.. I suppose I should ask one of these days. I think I'll try it one more time and see what it's like. Sometimes, you just get an "off" day, too. Baristas matter lol.

So true! Theres a few stores here it just doesnt taste as good as my regular store that knows me by name now and the drink I get hahaha and certain baristas make it extra good! Hi I am Jessica and i'm a starbucks junkie

One store I went to last summer wanted to put water in an Iced chai water doesnt go in ice chais only hot ones!

It can be tough, can't it? You have a taste for it, get to the counter and notice it's not your usual barista and you see some other person making it and it's like... :o You're praying and hoping and crossing your fingers and eyeballs anticipating a good blended drink.

Oh yes or the times when they're busy during the summers and they mess up and put coffee in it when coffee doesnt go in and I take a drink and its so gross ( not a coffee drinker) .I dont get many blended drinks usually just iced or hot chai depending on the weather lol You know I didnt even have a starbucks til I moved to vancouver 4 years ago and a coworker got me hooked on them man look at what its done to me !Oh well guess everyone has one bad habit

When I worked, I would go probably a few times a week, depending. People said I should own Starbucks stock to get that money back. Jerks.

I had an amazing mint chocolate milkshake tonight.

peppermint tea most of the time, though their chai is awesome...

Umm well usually 4-5 days a week Its like a few blocks from my work so I stop there and get one while killing time before I walk over to work .
