What are your weekend plans?

Well. Tonight.. probably watching TV with my mom, haha. Tomorrow my friends from Spokane are in town on their church band tour, so I'll hang out with them and then go to a BBQ/babysit the kiddos in the evening. Sunday I'm waking up RIDICULOUSLY EARLY to go to church with my dad, going to church, going to my aunt's house to have pizza for my birthday, then going to church.. and maybe sticking around for the BBQ afterwards. Monday my friend and I are waking up, getting coffee, and going to The Salvation Army thrift store, because it's 1/2 off day!!!!!!! =)

So exciting.

Canoeing is amazing and it's one of my favorite summer activities. I own a kayak but I prefer canoeing since I go for the social fun not the excersise

Hmmm...I might just have to give this canoeing thing a try

I never thought about posting a pic of the new outfit... that's more pressure now to find one that makes me look good LOL

I went to a big Salvation Army store in Vancouver about a month ago and got some great jeans!!! I don't know if there is more than one SA in Vancouver but this one was pretty big

That one is literally within walking distance of my house!! I live like maybe a mile and a half away from it, haha. yeah that's the only one here. We usually go to that one, but I think we're going to one in Tigard; it's like a boutique, which means it's a bit more expensive but has really nice stuff.

Also, my favorite thing to do on these days is to wear one of my gazillion Salvation Army shirts... it's just funny.

Nathan and I are going back to my hometown to visit my friends and family. My town has an annual festival with hydroplane jet boat races every year on Memorial Day weekend so it should be a lot of fun!

I am currently visiting a friend I haven't seen in 3 years (and then only a total of twice in the past 6 years) thru Sunday night, and possibly another friend on saturday (we three went to high school together). I'm currently in PA.

Sunday night, I'm going down to DE and seeing some other friends I haven't seen in 9 months, and then Monday I'm going to go visit the rest of the DE gang (we all went to college together and met through various forms of nerdery).

I really wish it would be hot enough to go swimming, since the lake opens this weekend (huzzah!!) but we're due for thunderstorms and rainy blah's. I love parades, so I'll be scouting for one that I can go to on Monday

I'm just getting to know this area better and wandering around really. And I have been applying for any jobs that I could have even the remotest chance at, which is basically everything, but licensed/highly skilled/graduate level jobs like a doctor, nurse, or being a professor.

I really like the book. I've heard that some people like the musical a lot more, but it's good to me...not that I've seen the musical. It makes me want to read more of Gregory Maguire's books.
