Too bad I couldn't understand a lot of what was being said.

Having watched it, the Rusmeister can comment. Quite good. The main things said you might like to understand are when the angel said, "The Lord has heard your prayer. Choose your own cross to bear." and the end when he said, "The cross you have chosen is your very own."

It helps to know something of Russian history, at least the Mongol invasion and the 250 years of subjugation to the Golden Horde.
