There is really only three places you can live.

Before the cross not willing to come, but always knowing it's there?

At the foot of the cross, a place of brokenness and repentance?

Past the cross with Glory before you and the only thing behind you is the symbol of what set you free?

Agreed, but that takes just a moment - doesn't it?

Sometimes...depends on the sin and the individual.

A person with an habitual or besetting sin may need to make
a repeated effort coupled with repentance in order to
crucify the flesh more fully...

For instance, it took me two years to quit smoking.
But as time wore on, the LORD kept encouraging me to keep trying,
and finally through repeated effort (many times slipping back)
and repenting...I eventually got to the place where I could
lay them down and not even DESIRE to smoke ever again.

That was over two years ago...

I had other problems which required the LORD to discipline me
before I was ready to turn fully away from them.
But, through perseverance, HE led me out of these snares
over time with effort.

How about living at the feet of Jesus? That way, everywhere Jesus goes, I'm going. I like living at his feet, but I also like being seated together with Him in heavenly places in Christ. Sure, Jesus suffered the cross, but He is not hanging on it anymore. He left the cross and went to the tomb, but He is not there anymore either. He ascended to the Throne of God and that is where I choose to be. With Jesus.

at the right hand of the Father with Jesus.

I agree. I am seated together with Him at the right hand of the Father. Old things have passed away, behold, all things are become new. I am joined to the Lord and one spirit with Him, the righteousness of Christ, a quickened spirit, made in the image and likeness of the Father, coming boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy in my time of need.

A Son, not a servant, yet choosing to serve. Loving God and loving my neighbor, walking in love, faith, hope and power, treading upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, judging the works of darkness and setting captives free, plundering hell to populated heaven.

I am always at the foot of the cross cause when i try to get up and move into glory, my brethren are always so wise and compassionate to step on my head and tell me I'm not ready to move into my glory. :)

Lol...

God Bless you GrapeGirl.

Peace...

This is a very awesome post as it is the Lord who will lead us to repent at the foot of the cross but if we are following Him we will be be ready to rule and reign with Him when the time is fully come.
