Around here, up north, there are some kind of weird winter rituals, just for the challenge and madness of it. What they do is go out onto a frozen lake and cut a hole in it. Then they have people line up in their swimsuits and running shoes, two by two. Two people hold hands and take a flying run and jump into the lake. They climb out and get all warmed up and dry, etc. Each year you do this you advance up a notch in rank, from minnow to shark (like in swimming lessons).

It is just too funny...a chance of snow and I can guarantee you that there will be no milk and bread at the store. Why is this I must ask? Can a person reallly survive on bread and milk???
