I don't feel like this is a place for me to come to any more.

The title says it all.

How can two walk together unless they be agreed? You cannot hope to have fellowship based on doctrine if you have little agreement. You have to find a group that thinks like you to a satisfactory degree.

I seldom write on the Dispensational Forum because I have nothing in common with their beliefs. I don't write on Universalist Forums because I reject their doctrines. I will tell you what I believe but I will not badger anyone incessantly on a subject.

Reality is - our fellowship is based on doctrines and not the Messiah.

I don't agree with that. I think people can choose to let doctrine be divisive, but we are counseled against that by St Paul. Only when things cannot be worked out and the doctrines are harmful to salvation or holiness should we separate.

However, fellowship is easier if there is agreement.

Me too. I actually have little in common with Messianics and Christians, but I still enjoy the discussions with them...if that can be termed "fellowship"

In the past few months I've joined Facebook and have found quite a few people with similar beliefs.

And yes I have made a few friends here. Though at times it is hard to feel like a friend via internet since there is no face to face. Many a time I feel many wouldn't want me around considering my belief. And over the past year or so I have felt I don't fit in with MJ anyhow since I have seen some of the same beliefs brought from Christianity(where I believe it was formed) into MJ fellowships around this part of the country, probably the same most every where. Christianity with a Hebraic covering. Same beliefs with only the outer appearance of Hebrew in it. Granted that most believe that the Torah is still in effect.
Also there have been a few people with non-messianic icons coming and posting in this area of the forum as if they were in their own forum. Oh well that is life isn't it. Guess if they feel they belong then I reckon they should change their icon. But then they couldn't go posting in the other forums any more without making their post a question, now could they.

I haven't been coming around much anyhow. I'll be around but probably as much as I have been lately, not too often.

Hi Tag, I'm sorry to hear of your newest troubles. I don't think the answer though lies in not coming here any longer. You sound like you need support and love from those of your family. I'm sorry you don't have a local family to help you, but remember we are here to support you, even from a distance prayer is powerful!

I'm sorry to hear about your recent lose of jobs too, but good to hear your landlady is a bit helpful. PM me next time you are on ok, I'd like to help a bit if I could.

Greetings everyone, yes even those who didn't post anything here who consider me a friend, and yes to those who posted here with nothing to say to me other then to post,

I found a temporary job working with a contractor. And a local friend provided some work for me today as well as talking to the contractor who is going to use my skills.

And yes I am very grateful for my landlady who isn't going to kick me to the street.

Shalom to all,

Then why is this site divided up into endless divisions? It is very easy these days for senior Christians to be contradicted. But of course this was an end time prophesy wasn't it?

In the first century the pecking order of the grand Sanhedrin was to allow the younger members to speak first. The older members spoke last. It was done this way so the older members would not be contradicted in public.

There was respect for elders back then - not today.

Baruch HaShem! Very happy to hear that Tag! I hope it continues, past what you expected. Remember to pray everyday before you start, the enemy will always want to tempt you and wants to beat you down, so pray yourself up and be strong in him that you may withstand the enemies darts. :)

Thank you Lulav,

I will pray each and everyday.

“יהוה bless you and guard you; יהוה make His face shine upon you, and show favour to you; יהוה lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.”

Also there have been a few people with non-messianic icons coming and posting in this area of the forum as if they were in their own forum.
That's precisely why I no longer frequent this forum. Too many Christians with an axe to grind. Then there are those who are sporting a Messianic icon, who do not practice Messianic Judaism in the least. You would be hard pressed to find an actual Messianic posting in this forum. The vast majority are Christians. If I wanted to discuss Scripture with Christians, I would simply go to their part of the forum. I guess that's over simplification...LOL ;)
