Ok...things seem to be barreling along out of anybodies control again...same as usual.

Still...

Is Desmond dead, alive, or in limbo?

I also concede the previous point made - that Desmond, along with Sun, Charlie, Hurley, ect are somehow experiencing both timelines more or less at once. With this in mind, has Jack joined the club? (seeing how dazed he was after nearly getting blown up twice in twenty seconds).

Also...I find myself wondering if 'flash sideways' Jack might not be able to pull off a medical miracle that will allow flash sideways Locke to walk.

Funky thought regarding flash sideways Locke - it took something pretty dramatic or traumatic for the other people aware of both timelines to gain this ability. Possibly, flash sideways Locke becomes aware of what 'fake' Locke is up too on the island? The question becomes - does flash sideways Locke get to exercise a smidgeon of control over what fake Locke is up to?

Somehow, I have this suspicion that most of Widmores latest recruits are going to be converted into corpses next episode.

I am *still* waiting for that weasel scientist Radinsky to turn up.

Finally Jin and Sun reunited. ahhh:kiss:

In the flash-sideways Sun says that Its Him about Locke, Is she remembering him from the island then?

I don't think Sayid killed Desmond, but I'm not sure?

and Jack's concussion is similar to when Claire was concussed in last season's shows, which is when she wandered off to the cabin shortly after.

Ok so that was like going so fast for LOST, I was like whoa so much going on here.

Seems like everyone is connecting with each other in the flashes.

I also don't think Sayid killed Desmond. And...could that be in part why his flash sideways is now going so badly?

Also still waiting to see Juliet. Daniel and Ellie have to be back as well.

It was nice to see Ilana again.

I loved that Jin and Sun were back together, and yet felt underwhelmed by the reunion.

I felt something similar when Jack first saw Locke.

I wonder if this is because we've been seeing these characters regularly, so the impact isn't the same as when they see each other for the first time...unlike when we first saw Locke alive again. Or even when we saw Libby.

Yes, I think Jack will pull that off, thus eliminating the reason Locke is so attached to the island.

Desmond is special because he can absorb huge amounts of electromagnetism, which consequently allows his consciousness to move along space and time (i.e. space-time.) In season three, Desmond's consciousness traveled between 2004 on the island and some past point, but it was uncontrolled and random.

When Charles Widmore put him in the "Box of EM," he finally sealed the bridge. In other words, Desmond is in a flux-state of EM in which he is experiencing both the Alternate Time line, and the present time line. The switches happen so often, and so instantaneously that it could be thought of as the constant throughout space-time. Unlike Daniel Faraday who cannot maintain his flux without going crazy or dying (unless he gets a hold of his constant.) Daniel Faraday is the variable throughout space-time.

Desmond is inducing near-death-experiences and deep emotional experiences to get people to remember the Island, and what happened there. Once they do, perhaps they will be able to fight Flocke remotely (in a different space-time.)

I think these are very interesting theories.

What do you mean? I read your post and looked to see what is on ABC tomorrow and my listing does show Lost. Am I missing something?

It's a rerun of Ab Aeterno. :(

New episodes begin again next week.

I think they are doing a rerun today because they want the finale (two hours) to be on May 23 and that's how the number of episodes worked out. I don't like it either - but, the rerun tonight is an enhanced version, so maybe we'll learn something new in the pop-ups?

Oh! That's a good point...we were just going to skip it. Maybe we'll watch it after all, thanks for mentioning that, Snooch.
