Glad things are going well.

We're doing pretty well too. My dd has all her milk feeds from me, which is 5 a day. I hoping to be able to drop the one at 5.30 in the morning as she is sleeping past that time if I let her now. She also has one meal a day - technically it's babyrice at breakfast but we don't always fit it in in the morning so sometimes it's lunch lol
I've had a bug so Ive not been able to eat anything for about 30 hours and my milk is not great. I'm hoping to be well enough to eat tomorrow and be able to get it decent again

Just popping in to read how you ladies are doing, and wanted to say keep it up! I admire you all for being able to breastfeed. I was sooo set on it, and it just didn't work out. I am finally officially done exclusively pumping. DS got his last drop of breastmilk two days ago, and I haven't pumped since.

till she is done, LOL. I honestly haven't really given it much thought. The last one I nursed to 13.5 months but then got insomnia and was put on sleeping pills that did not work well with nursing, and I wanted to eat certain foods again, (she is allergic to eggs and peanuts, and boy was I craving peanuts!)

So if you ate those things and then fed her they'd come out in the milk? Wow!!!!

I know what you mean - I crave curries at the moment but can't have them and also garlic - I have to make alot of stuff without it and I love garlic

yep they do, and made her a very cranky sick baby. We tested DD2 for food allergies last summer and the tests came back high for eggs and positive for peanuts.

I have found a few egg substitutes and even bought a box of egg replacer to use when cooking for Mary, the poor kid can't even touch an egg without getting hives! I know they have peanut dogs, but I wonder if they have egg dogs?!hmm

Do you give her the cows milk in a bottle, beaker with lid or open cup?

13.5months is great. I have a friend with 4 children and she's fed them all fir between 18 & 24 months-I wonder how she keeps them going that long lol

my mil obviously thinks I've been feeding Esther too long!!!! I have to do jury service in November and mentioned something about fitting feeding Esther in and she said something like 'well you won't still be feeding her by then!'. As if she'll be over a year so why do you need to!

I am going to assume that a beaker with lid will be the same a what we call a sippy. She takes it in a sippy cup with lid, as when we give her a regular cup she dumps it on the floor.

She just started walking Saturday!

yeah a sippy is what I was meaning. Lol I can imagine.

Ahh - how great :0)

Esther doesn't go anywhere yet-she's nearly 8 months. Our ds had been crawling for 2 months by now, she's a little behind how he was lol
