Ok, so what did you eat after Pascha Liturgy to break the fast?

At St. George they had huge italian subs, and they were SOOOOO good. I brought chicken and kielbasa with me to eat, but didn't even manage to get arround to them. Mrs. G had the chicken. Meat=yum.

I had rolls and smoked salmon with black pepper and lemon after DL today with coffee and cream

Tonight I'm having Lamb casserole :D - oh and some wine of course :)

Are you going to have some cheese with your whine? :p

Church has a big feast---Pascha bread and Cheese Pascha, mac n cheese, ice cream, chocolate milk, Pascha bread with butter, Pascha bread w/ horseradish (woooo nelly I bought some strong horseradish this year) and others had lamb, bacon explosion, pork loin, ribs, chicken wings, pizza, wine, bourbon, and oh yea, one of our Matushkas made jello jiggler eggs-jello shots ;) I had to have a bite of one of those.

I had a piece of ham, a barbecue rib, and green onion dip to break the fast. We have our dinner after the Paschal Vespers this afternoon. One of our Greek families is cooking the lamb, and we'll also have ham, chicken, barbeque, and any other meat that our families can think to bring, salads, side dishes, and desserts. After liturgy tomorrow, there is a brunch. As for me, tomorrow night I plan to cook Greek chicken with lemon, garlic, olive oil, and oregano (my leg quarters have to finish thawing out) that are cooked with potatoes.

I just got home from Church. (Our services started at 6:45 AM this morning, ended about 10:30 AM.)

We just had coffee hour with different pastries and some blessed egg. I'm going over my Aunt's at 2:30 this afternoon where the *real* eating will begin! :)
