Science has very little to do with History other than as a tool to investigate current conditions which may or may not give indications of what has occurred in the past.

Science really has nothing at all to do with the origins of anything, since recreating past events is near to impossible without knowing the exact conditions existing at the time.

These conditions can be assumed, and the results can be fun. But much less informative and important than the scientist (looking for further funding) would lead everyone around him to believe.

Due to a stupid premise, SETI has no government funding.

"Known facts" is an unknown phrase with no definition.
The phrase is not currently associated with "Truth" or "Reality" or "Real".

That's not true. Long-period light exposure decreases the population of male plants and prevents budding until the plant has reached maturity, letting the plant devote more energy to growth. :wave:

In 2000 the Paul Allen Foundation and Nathan Myhrvold seeded...

In the final chapter of his After Contact (1997), Albert Harrison devotes two sections ("Search without End?" and "Building Support for SETI") to the problem of maintaining society's interest in pursuing SETI as generation after generation pass by without any sign of being rewarded with success.

Be a pal and send your "known facts" about Extraterrestrials to SETI so they can focus on your stated planets and get their private funding back.
The public is still not interested in funding such lunarcy.

That wouldn't surprise me. Yet the forum writer said he had cut back on the hours of light with no decrease in results. Likely there are a number of factors in balance regarding plant mass, potency, electricity cost and the intelligence of the particular market.

Well I was being a little facetious. The plants do need SOME dark cycle every day. But a solid 14-17 hours of light seems to get the job done right, and giving them a shot of light during the dark cycle tends to decrease male count. Depends on the strain, really.

Gardening is fun.

100% correct. That's why "Science" is unable to make a scientific case for the existence of the Cosmos. "One Big-Bang and it's there" doesn't stand up to the laws of science. Only a SuperNatural explanation can explain how the Universe became so orderly and.......weighty....out of nothing.

God says He was there first and caused it all. God as the first cause is the only Scientific answer since science is not allowed to create something from nothing, or order from disorder, or intelligence from evolutionary scumbags.
