Pray for Me!!!

I'm a 17 yr old guy and i've been struggling with a very difficult issue. I've been trying to deal with it alone for the past couple yrs but now i need reinforcement. Ever since i was in jr. high i've been struggling with attraction to guys. I have never acted out on these thoughts or have done anything, so i'm not gay. I choose not to live that kind of lifestyle, but this struggle is really interfering with my life. I want a girl friend, but dont know if i can give her all that i have to give. This struggle has really brought me closer to God, we have an awesome bond. I just want prayer that this would go away and i can live my life without this constant burden. Please pray that i overcome this struggle.

I understand what your friend is going through, it's good that he/she has someone to talk to about it though. It's difficult to go it alone. The best advice i can give is to pray like crazy that God will bless them with the faith and strength to overcome the struggle. Their relationship with God will play a huge role in coming out of this. REMEMBER God will never give us anything we can't handle!!! If God didn't think that your friend could handle this, then he wouldn't have made her/him the way he did. Maybe God is trying to use this struggle to bring your friend closer to him. I know some of this may sound confusing, but this is what I have learned from enduring this with God. I can tell you from first hand experience that God is real and anything, ANYTHING is POSSIBLE with him. My bond and relationship with God has grown immensely through my walk with him in overcoming this struggle. DO NOT LOSE FAITH AND DO NOT LOSE HOPE!!! NEVER STOP TRUSTING HIM AND HE WILL BRING YOUR FRIEND OUT OF THIS!!! DON'T FORGET TO PRAY AND ASK FOR PRAYER!!! I appreciate everyone on here who has been praying for me . I will definitely keep your friend in my prayers, they are not alone in this struggle I hope this was at least somewhat helpful. It's important for them to keep themselves from being in a position where they are tempted.
