This thread makes me wonder what ever happened to "love your neighbor as yourself." Where's the love for Coakley, and for Democrats in general?
That doesn't make your behavior any less sinful.Perhaps the party of no, the truck driving astroturf is not in such a loving mood right now.
Wanting abortion to be illegalized isn't freedom. Keeping gays from having the same rights as straight people do isn't freedom. Wanting to keep poor people from having the same access to health care that wealthier people have isn't freedom. So, tell me, how exactly did freedom win today?I am happy freedom and common sense won today.
That doesn't make your behavior any less sinful.
I thought that everything was supposed to be about sin to you Christians. Or is it only not about sin when you're doing something you enjoy? It's not about sin, this is about politics.
What about the freedom for women to choose what to do with their unwanted pregnancies, including choosing abortion if they so wish? You're advocating taking that freedom away from women.the freedom of the unborn to breathe free air is a sweet sweet freedom...standing against murder is a stand for freedom. People have access to health care..all people have access to health care. I don't care if they legalize gay marriage, they should end the tax issues related to it for all people.
Why weren't you proud of MA before? It's not like us liberals are horrible or anything, and it's not like us liberals don't have others' best interests in mind. For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my state.
Maybe now, with the ability to filibuster, the majority party will allow input from the minority party and practice the inclusivity of which they preach.
