Yes Doc, its real, no doubt about it.

Jesus could have looked the way he is usually depicted.
His ancestor, David, is described as being blond and of ruddy complexion.

There are still ifs and buts as with many things it cannot be positively proven

I am always interested in watching documentaries on the shroud.  And some of the last few that have been shown on Discover or TLC have been very interesting...

The more recent shows have commented that the Carbon dating was inaccurate and needs to be redone. 

Also, as the general public, how are we to know that Carbon dating is correct?  We can only know by what scientist tell us and what they want us to know....  What is the bench mark for which carbon dating is based on?
