I'm trying real hard to see Avatar today, but being movies are about the only thing you can do on Christmas it seems everyone has the same idea. I tried to buy tickets for a 3:30 showing online, but that didn't go through for some reason. I went to the theater and they were sold out in IMAX and wanted to see me tickets to see it on the regular screen. No thank you, the movie was made for IMAX. I finally actually got tickets to go at 7.

The website says the 7 p.m. showing is sold out now. Maybe I want to make some money and wait to see it at 11...

Avatar.
It was a good movie not a great movie....
so many borrowed elements from other stories, and such a predictable ending that I am disappointed it went the way I saw it going 15 minutes in.....
still a good ride there and some very nice elements along the way.... the story can be overlooked for a 4/5..... maybe next time Mr. James Cameron sir.....

In a weird way it kinda reminded me of that old cartoon movie FernGully.

It was good but I'm not sure now if it was worth the IMAX pricetag. I'm just going to suggest people see it in regular 3D and save themselves $10.
