I'm wondering how many Messianics realize that Sha'ul is addressing ethnic Jews in Romans chaper 2, when he says "But if you are called by the name Yehudi (Jew) and rely on the Torah and boast in Hashem?" He's obviously talking about Jews who do not keep covenant with HaShem when he goes on to say "He is not a Jew who is one outwardly." You would think their first clue would be when he says "Circumcision has its value if you keep the Torah; but if you go on breaking the Torah, you are no more circumcised than the uncircumcised."
This isn't rocket science. NOWHERE in that passage does Sha'ul say Gentiles become "spiritual Jews." That's ludacris!
