About Those Guidelines:

How are defense and taxation qeustions tied to social policy? Wouldn't those concern foreign policy and economic policy respectively?

I'm very traditional on marriage and sanctity of life but tend to be progressive on economic and foreign policy issues. So I'm wondering on what premise(s) the guidelines were written. Was it based on convention (i.e., a general agreement among forum participants), or is it something else?

Obama said that "Everybody can buy a truck." Obama was mocking and trying to make fun of Scott Brown for driving a truck at least three times in Boston in his rally for Marcia.
　
Scott Brown replied:

Mr. President, unfortunately in this economy, not everybody can buy a truck. My goal is to change that by cutting spending, lowering taxes and letting people keep more of their own money.

It is upsetting to hear Obama mock hard working Americans. Just another hit to the bitter gun owning bible clingers, eh?
Obozo has no love for plumbers, steel workers, coal miners, salmon fishermen, and now truckers. Who’s next?

All while we have so many people unemployed, underemployed, working jobs without any predictable future, Obama acts as if everyone really CAN buy a truck.

Hello everyone. Haven't stopped in these parts for a long time. Thought I would see who all is around. I have kind of jumped ship and don't post on CF much anymore. I have also gone back to school.

My husband has taken to DVR'ng John Stossel's program. He did one on Crony Economics recently Very interesting to say the least.

Still feeling proud of my state for the first time. What a good feeling.

I now know what Scibbler must go through when home during primary season in NH. The phone didn't stop ringing for most of the last week. I figured if you can't beat em join em so I made calls from Brown HQ last weekend. Felt good to be part of a winning campaign for a change.

We'll have the governor's office next fall. Maybe at least enough to sustain a veto in the statehouse if all goes well too.
