Interesting and true points.
Someone told me something the other day that really stayed with me. Something I very grateful for.
In the Spirit, there is one path and one goal; therefore, when you become a part of that body then you can relate to, connect with, and feel as a family with the others. It doesn't matter the denomination. It doesn't matter if it's an old friend or a stranger. Our histories or current situations don't matter.
There shouldn't be any division when it comes to the faith and support of each other. I agree wholeheartedly, and as I continue down the this path I'm finding that I don't want it any other way. You have the Spirit to tug at you and make right what isn't.
Ephesians 4 (The unity of the Spirit)
v4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
v5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
v6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
v7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
It does speak of one type of division that is acceptable, God given, and necessary. The division of what we are called to do, individually. It sharpens, edifies, and builds us up, .
God's version of division forms unity.
v11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some pastors and teachers;
v12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ;
v13 Till we allcome in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
