Advice needed
Last night I got a call from my mom , she told me that while she was doing laundry she saw a black figure and it went in through her back and she assumes came out her front. she is not one to make these things up. For as long as we can remember my sisters and I have always had a "fear of the basement" (my grandmother's old house) and it seemed that as soon as the door to the basement was closed the fear would be gone. we chalked this up to being silly kids, howver a couple of years ago my youngest sister (16) was having a sleep over with her friend and semmingly became controlled by somthng and tore the basement door to shreds with her bare hands and ripped the leg off the table, this hous has a violent history and has been prayed over since the last incident. MY mother was freaked out enought to come stay at my house last nigh,t and we are afraid for her safety and are wondering if she should go home today or not?

Questions:

1. Are you in a Spirit filled church? (AoG, WoF,etc..) If not your whole family needs to get in one.

2. Is anyone in your family involved with anything demonic? (tarot cards, conjuring, demonic movies or music, etc..) If so that is like a welcome mat for unclean spirits. If you have children or teenagers be very careful what they listen to and watch for drug use. (Drugs are actually used in ancient and modern practices of divination.)

3. Is there a history in the house of anything demonic or violent? (A murder, suicide, etc...) If so the house needs to be cleansed and prayed over and so does every member of your family. You need to consult a local Spirit filled minister that will help walk you through this and counsel you. It basically involves anointing the house, praying and agreeing int he name of Jesus and claiming your property for God. Sounds like the basement definitely needs to be anointed and prayed over.

VERY IMPORTANT: We do not have any power over unclean spirits, neither is this something that anyone should toy around with. The devil has one purpose and mission: To steal, kill and destroy. He does it through fear, lies and manipulation. The only power we have over the devil is through the power that God has given all true believers in His Son. Always pray and command in Jesus' name. Make sure you pray the protection of Jesus' blood over you and all your family before you come against anything and every night before you go to bed.


Make sure you go get local help from a local pastor. get involved in church and the things of God if you are not already.

We have had the house prayed over since my sister destroyed the house, my mother is the caretaker of my grandmother's estate.
The house has seen many violent acts over the years usually physical. my uncle killed a cat and dog downstairs though.
My grandmother died 8 years ago but the overall "creepiness" of the basement has always been that way.
I go to church but my mother does not she is a chrisitan but only has just coem back she spent a long time away from God.
She prayed against the thing but we are not sure if she could go home because, I suddelny bluted out that "accidents" happen when she said that the demon could not hurt her because she was not accepting of it.

You have a real battle on your hand here.

You need help from a very experience ministry team in these things, and I suggest that you make some enquiries, because this is heavy stuff.

Demon can always enter an "empty, swept, and put in order house" (Matt. 12:43-45 and Luke 11:24-26), and the evil one does walk around seeking whom he can devour (1 Pet. 5:8).

While the powers of darkness has rights over that house, then you will continue to experience these things.

There is much work to be done, and you won't get the answers you need from this forum. There are many good services in this ministry available, but you have to search for them.

I am sorry I couldn't give you any answer to your problem.

But, you do need to get a group of mature and experienced Christians who do walk in authority and have authority to pray over the lower part of the house. Anointing in oil and covering the area in HIS BLOOD is the start point.

People can talk the talk, but don't walk the talk. You need to find the ones who walk the talk.

I read this last night before anybody posted a thing and ask the lord what do you wanted me to say and I got nothing. As someone that goes back to the early 70's on this matter and being taught the so called rules of this I can say this. The basement is a picure of foundation and all I'm readinng is a foundation of fear.

Well, that's kind of the point. There's a demon in the basement.

Remember - what is in you is greater than what is in the world. The fear is causing the inability to get rid of the demon.

I will give you a good example - my ex son-in-law saw a demon manifest to him in his home (believe me it felt invited) it scared my daughter so bad that she called me to see what to do - I have never dealt with demons before and had not heard it taught in the church. We called our pastor to come and cleanse the house - he laughed at us.

I then called a little church in the area and ask the pastor if he would come and cleanse the house - what he said changed our lives - he said 'my dear, you don't need a pastor to cleanse your house - God gave you that authority' - we don't take the authority that God has intrusted us with.

We say a little mealy mouth prayer while trimbling all the while - it wouldn't even scare off a mouse. The Bible tells us to speak BOLDLY AND WITH AUTHORITY - you don't have to have a big scene, shouting and all - but speak with authority.

The demons cannot cross the Blood line - pray the Blood of Jesus throughout the house and especially the basement - ask Jesus to place His angels around - use the oil and make the sign of the cross over every door and window - this is what the pastor told us to do and there was never any more problems - I know this sounds crazy, but we did it - he said to leave a door open while doing this. At this point I was not aout to question what the pastor was telling us to do - we just did it.

Now just make sure that you stand in authority and your life is dedicated to God and you have repented of all your sins - to have full authority, you must be a child of God.

If you are a child of God they cannot touch you or hurt you or enter you. Do it without fear and the belief that God is in control.

Ever since that day God has placed me in many events that demons were present - I knew they were present, but had no fear - on several occasions I did nothing because the person that had the demons invited them in.

You can let evil control your life or you can stand boldly knowing Jesus is right beside you and have no fear. Speak boldly and with authority is the key. I have waited 2 days to answer this fearing I should not tell you this because most people are telling you to seek a pastor - but this is what God put on my heart to tell you.

I have experienced some things.. she is quite correct in her diagnosis..


Chances are excellent there are connections to witchcraft or something of that nature in your ancestry or your husbands.. that was where my battle mainly was.. not myself, but family. My mom was into the occult. You have to renounce all spirits off witchcraft. command them to leave, pray for Jesus to send His Holy angels to carry them away to their place and protect you..

also the swept house thing// that is very true.. and a house swept clean, seven more worse will enter, etc. You must get involved with a really good charismatic or pentecostal church (they are excellent in this stuff from my experience, great spiritual warriors), get their prayers and their warrior angels around you for aid.. you must be FILLED by the holy spirit. when the holy spirit fills you, you will know, and there will not be a place left for unclean spirits to enter.

Then.. go through your house, the physical house, where you live,, get rid of anything that these spirit might consider an entry to your home or life. any idols you may keep as keepsakes, any new age books etc, get rid of it.

it works real well believe me I know. It was a 2+ year battle for me and some really strange stuff going on.

pray pray pray. Also, playing christian worship and praise music, these spirits hate that so keep it on as much as you can, read the bible outloud also.

do not give in, have faith.

No you miss the point the foundation of anything is Christ.

You know really though.. if the situation is that violent over there.. it would be real effective to simply put a couple radios/cd players in strategic places, like the basement for one.. and play some real real nice worship music down there allll the time. all the time, keep playing it. You could tune into a christian radio station maybe, get some preaching on there too. The music and preaching are very very effective to get these types of things out of your house. Also, it will soothe your mom.

(expect to need to replace the cd player so don't use anything expensive)

So what you are saying is the crucifixion was a sunday outing? seem to me that by her post they try and fail several times on this matter. I think the book say's Jesus never fails. So maybe the doctrine is just flat wrong and is being spoken in disblief and not belief.

And what power do tell does that have with the post? Please show me in the word where Jesus sang songs before He acted in this casting out of the vain imagination of the flesh? Opps just let the cat out of the bag.

I think I see what they're getting at. Basically getting into a deeper level of His presence and carrying Him with you through it. Jesus just went for prayer and fasting periods away from everyone. But He was more aware of the connection between Him and the Father than the problem. Might be where they're headed. I actually agree to cultivate His presence and be more aware of Him and if that means enter in with thanks giving and praise hey sure go for it! Thanking the Father for the victory we already have and speaking to ourselves in psalms to encourage ourselves works wonders. Faith comes by hearing hearing by the word. Faith works by love so again,...whee back to the feeding on the Father's love!

The thead is on casting out demons not prisons doors being open. Good grief. To say I don't believe the good news is like saying the sun won't rise in the morning. My problem is I beleive the writer got it right THE HOLY SPIRIT. But man to fit his doctrine mess up the word and filled with there self belief. so the question become which one of the books are you talking about?

I think you misunderstand maybe.. prayers and praise/worship (song included).. as we draw closer to God in these ways He draws closer to us.. and answers our prayers, meets our needs etc.

There are online bibles where you can search for terms like singing, song, praise.. and get all sorts of examples.

What are the psalms and how were they used is another example.
